because SWG is going to cost you $14.99 a month to play and we all know it's just EQ dressed with Star Wars textures.
I beta tested this game for 4 month's and I can't believe they have the nerve to release their pricing plan. In order to pay $12.00 a month, you have to signup for 12 month's.
I have to give them the credit of knowing they can squeeze all the Star Wars fanatics for their money. Even for a game that runs like crap and can barely keep a server up.
If you like killing frogs all day for 15 XP in order to obtain 45,000 XP total, this is your game.
Well back to EVE.

Bah. With all the star-wars fans out there I bet they cold charge 20 a month and get away with it.

You are probably right about that. SW fanatics are known for buying any garbage thrown at them. Just add the George Lucas or Lucasarts stamp of approval and you are set.

What a mmog that has bugs? From reading the EVE forums I was under the impression that EVE was the only mmog that ever had a bug :P

Oh my gods! I've just looked at the SWG website (first time i've looked at info on SWG).
An EQ-style FPS? why did they bother?

I just hate Star War games, SWG is nothing compared to EVE. They dont have as intresting PVP as EVE do have. AMY

what eve has going for it
committed and good quality development team in for the long haul not just a quick buck
Listen the fans and balance things
Now a big well known (though growing) and therefore not given to SOE or EA type thinking
