Ask a fitting question to more then one person, and you will get fits that are light years away from one another.
So basically I am posting the fits I have researched, and that have been recommended to me, here for review. Which ones do you think are headed in the right direction and which ones have epic fail written all over them (if any).
Assume all mods are Tech II
Fit one:
High: 1 nos, 2 neuts. Med: 1 TD (tracking speed script), 1 AB, 1 disruptor, 1 cap recharger low: 2 overdrives, 1 DCU II
Fit two:
High: 3 Neuts med: 1mn MWD, 1 Warp disruptor, 1 web, 1 small cap injector low: 1 Enam, 1 small rep, 1 micro aux power core.
Fit three:
High: 1 nos, 2 neut med: 1 TD (tracking speed script), 1 AB, 1 disruptor, Medium shield extender low: 2 micro aux power cores, 1 DCU II
Fit four:
High: 1 nos, 2 neuts. Med: 1 TD (tracking speed script), 1 AB, 1 disruptor, 1 cap recharger low: 1 DCU II, 1 Enam, I Istab
I seem to like Fit one the best, but only If I replaced the cap recharger with something simple like a small shield extender. No resists I know, but that would put the HP up there with Fit 4 (according to EFT). Fit 3 seems a bit ridiculous but I posted it here anyway just in case :)

Because dps is for suckers, or does it have a drone bay?

It has a surprisingly large dronebay actually but if I remember correctly only 20 bandwidth?

I go with 1Nos/2Neut---(t2 takes more grid/cpu)----Best named-- 24kscram/T2Sens booster(scan res)/TD(tracking speed)/ABII DCUII/ENAMII/I-stabII
WarriorsII/HobgoblinsII With Drones Interface 5 and Hi drone skills its PWNS cruisers/T2 frigs any thing that's not a Missile boat..... With EAS5 you can Neut/Nos out to 20km+

#1 is okay if you want to rely on speed tanking alone, might be okay in a fleet...rest are epic fail.
What do you want to do?

I've been playing with a fit with 1 small pulse laser for taking out drones if I'm attacked with them and a SAR2.
Anyone else tried this before I go out and fail with it? --

Forget the laser....if they are medium drones, take them out with your drones first. If they are warriors....probably will have to warp away.
Repper is nice if you have the right setup. It allows you to recover after the initial volley or two from an inty before you can cap them out.
This ship has some very good matchups, but light missile boats or drones are usually bad news. Also 2 ships depending on the type is going to be difficult because you have such low dps. If you can guarantee a solo fight and a few other conditions that never seem to happen, it's quite a good ship....

The only repper fit that has ever worked for me is this:
1x small nos II 2x small neut II
1x 1mn MWD II 1x warp disruptor II 1x tracking disruptor II + script 1x small cap booster II + 150s
1x micro aux power core 1x small armour rep II 1x damage control II
6x hobgob II 6x warrior II Going for EANM over a DCU is just stupid unless you plate it (which is also stupid). I prefer 2 neuts over 2 nos and mwd to stay outside overheated web range. Means you need a cap booster. Pulsing the repper you can really keep it going for a while. It's just really important to keep 1 nos and neut going long enough to drain stuff dry.
All the stuff above does not necessarily reflect my corp, my alliance or even me.. Drone guide.. |
