In Whispers in the Dark (part 3 of 4) you have to haul some drones right.
The desination is a low-sec, with a HIGH chance of a gatecamp.
So the questions are..
Do I decline it and if so, can I still do part 4?
If I accept it and get blown up and hence losing the cargo, can I still do part 4?
Thanks in advence for your advice.

Just do it:
scout the system in a shuttle beforehand, quickly grab your ship which should have inertia stabilisers in the lows, and make a run for it.

Yeah.
First, note in your journal and the mission description how long you have to complete the mission once you accept it and how long you have over all. So you may not have to rush right out and complete this mission. You may have several days.
The best time of day to run low sec is in the several hours just before or immediately after down time.
Park your courier ship next to the gate you're going to use.
Get a shuttle or something.
Look at your map and set your filters (one at a time) to Ships Destroyed Within the Hour and Pods Destroyed within the Hour as well as Pilots in space.
This should give you and idea of how dangerous the system(s) you'll need to go through are.
Go scout the gate.
If it's clear come turn around and go back through the gate and get your courier.
If it's not clear try to warp out so you don't get killed. Then warp back to within a good distance from the gate to see if there's anyone still there.
You may well have several days to complete the mission so just keep checking to see if it's clear.
If you're in a shuttle or something and there's already a big fight going on ... that's sometimes not a bad time to run the gate as everyone there is already busy with the fight. But obviously it's better to have an empty gate.
Another thing you can look into is whether or not you can chart a course into the system by going a different way.
If you do get blown up, you might be able to ransom the mission items from the pirates if they are rare - or if they aren't - just go buy some on the market. As long as you provide EXACTLY what the mission spec's you can complete it with something other than the specific instance of the item you were given. Check this out BEFORE you lose it. If the item doesn't have the exact same name as what you see in the market - the game may well not consider it valid.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm still considering my options.
Buying the items is not an option as they are not on the general market and the only contract I found available is for 1 unit not 6.
Scouting seems my only option which I have done in the past but as from experience there is no guarantee.
The back route into the system is several low-sec jumps, which from looking at the maps seems a viable option.
If anyone does know that decline or fail if I can still do the final mission would rally help?

If you decline one mission in a chain, the chain ends right there. So nom, you wouldn't be able to do the fifth mission in the chain.
As others have said, try to do it right after downtime ends - if you're lucky, you can get tot hat gate beofre the campers do. Scout it in any case.
Depending onthe cargo, you MIGHT be ablee to adapt a small, fast-aligning ship to do this run. For example, if the cargo's less than 100m3 total, a Executioner with a inertial stab, a AB and a overdrive is nano-speeds without nanoing, and can warp before it finishes aligning.
Either way, scout before you gate, and luck to you.

Thanks Johann, thats exactly the answer I was afraid of.
I got lucky in the end, using a missile frigate for the cargo space as it was 300m3 and 2x Warp stabs. Did it in one just one trip. No aggro. Splitting the six Medium Sealed Containers would have been a good alternative option.
Did wonder if it being a FW system would have had anything to do with my luck?
Thanks for all the help guys.
