That sucks. My old cat, simplay named "cat" died over the summer. Didn't want a new one but a friend of mine said her mom;s cat had kittens and there was one left for adoption so I took her. She's 4 months old now, white with orange/black tiger stripes. Full of energy, attacks everything, watches me play Eve. I named her Lolcat, my vet asked wtf kinda name is that hehe.

The best name, thats what I say.
If I get another cat (Kinda down to other family members tbh) I'll probably call it Jefferson Airplane. Jeff for short, obviously.

Having a cat die is never nice, but at least Paddy seems to have had a long and happy life.
The best cat name that I've heard is Chairman Meow.
Or you could just call a replacement moggy Yarrrgerroffmygardenyabastard since that's what your neighbours will call it.

Lost a cat, Paws, to kitty-cancer several years ago and I still miss her. Her partner in crime (Kato) is still alive at about 17 years old at my parents house.
And then I've got two of my own (Tut and Cotton) who are very much still young cats. I love 'em all, and wish I wouldn't ever lose them.
Sorry about your loss.

My condolences.
It's always hard to lose an animal that's close to you. I had an adventurous cat run out the door of my apartment one day when I was bringing groceries in and I never saw him again. It's not like he lived a hard life or anything

Edited by: Liranan on 03/12/2008 09:41:52 My cat died a few months ago and I'm still upset. Four years of faithful love and stupidity and I really miss it. It used to come and sit on my lap and watch me play Enemy Territory. Then it used to lean over and bat the screen trying to catch the people. Unfortunately I don't have any pictures of it doing that but I think back with great fondness. People say cats aren't loyal but I have found them to be just as, or even more so, than dogs. We had it castrated because it had started to spray but it was so stupid it never got throuth to it and we have pictures of it humping Snoopy and Bunny (two of my daughters Teddies).
My daughter still cries sometimes because she misses it, sad really
I thank the GM for cleaning the thread as my thread got trolled too by a few insensitive fools. Farjung is my God

Haha yeah. Good times, back in the day when Active and Passive worked WONDERS in them Level 2s. Probably - It was a fit I got for free from a dude in SAK. That got me through Recon parts 1, 2 and 3 i'll have you know!
Least I think thats what it was. Tbh I was like.. 3 weeks old at that point? When EVE was still "new and unknown" and all that.

Condolences man. Losing a pet usually causes grievance comparable to losing a loved one (human, that is).
Getting a new cat will surely help. Don't feel bad, he was lucky enough to die in his sleep- a luxury that not every cat has. -clp

Sorry for your loss man :( I have lost 3 cats in my life already and it hurts each time. One to old age, one to a jerky car driver, and another that had to be put down (old age + bad bladder = trouble ).
