Political Vacuum in the Ammatar Mandate
http://myeve.eve-online.com/news.asp?a=single&nid=2568&tid=2
Our leaders and our nobles have betrayed us. The Governer has gone over to Shakor's gang of thugs and there has been no leadership from the Nefanter nobility.
Yet there is still hope.
Ammatar Free Corps pilots are flying alongside amarrian forces to repel the tribal onslaught in The Bleaks, Devoid and now Heimatar and Metropolis. We have not forgotten our people.
There is a choice.
Derelik will not be absorbed into the tribal state. We are Ammatar, not Minmatar. The tribals do not have anything that we want. We do not have to 'go home', as we are home.
All Ammatar who want to defend their homeland and their heritage should rally to our banner. Our people need us.

Even with our backs against the wall, the Mandate must - and will - be cleansed. We do not forget what the Thukker horde plotted and brought us. Know that we will take the tribal 'home' away from under their feet, in ways more insidious than they wrought unto us.
And for all our efforts, our enemy will bankroll.
And for all our efforts, the enemy will thank us dearly.

A political vacuum sucks.
Hopefully it gets sorted soon.

Dear me... the Empress has appointed Lord Ardishapur to administer the Mandate. I'm not sure how I feel about that.

Originally by: Aldrith Shutaq Dear me... the Empress has appointed Lord Ardishapur to administer the Mandate. I'm not sure how I feel about that.
It depends on what the motivations of Ardishapur and the Imperial throne are. It could be a step backwards for the Ammatar Mandate with a suppression of the Ammatar upper classes and a regression of the Ammatar population back into slavery. It could be a step forward with the loyal Ammatar population being further integrated into the powerstructure of the Amarrian Empire, with the possibility of nefantar upper class individuals being transferred into the politically dominant Holder class.
I'm sure many within the empire would disagree with me about which direction is the proper one, but I'm a man of progress. Neither direction would be in a violation of the scriptures, and as such I favor the direction that further integrates the Ammatar as a respected part of the Amarr Empire, along with the Udorians, Ni-kunni and Khanid.
However. Given Ardishapurs leanings when it comes to scriptural interpretation (as evidenced by his appointment of Derak Tanar) it's not likely that this will be a positive development for the Ammatar. ______________________________________________ -My respect can not be won, only lost. Lord Ardishapur is a wise and noble leader, who I am sure will take the Mandate from strength to strength.

I'm sure she know's what she's doing. The question is, does she have your best interests in mind?
Well, the offer still stands.

Ammatar warrior,
The dedication you have shown towards our People will be sang in our great halls for centuries to come. Right in the hunter's Jungle you tricked the Lion in thinking you were his Cub. It was this great deception that kept our Starkmanir brothers and sisters safe, but at a great cost. The cost of your own identity that had to be hidden.
The great Queen Lion, Jamyl, has sent her most conservative vassal now; Lord Yonis Ardishapur is bent on having you to remain the cub they expect you to be.
Remember Jamyl's words at the coronation.
"What you give to this Empire, I shall give back until you."
Ammatar gave her trouble, she will return the favor.
You do not need the Lion's God or the words that are spoken by the Amarr to remember the Nefantir Dragon within you. I know you can hear the hymns of the Minmatar Tribes that our Elders sang together.
You are not alone warrior. You are a Dragon amongst Dragons. You are Nefantir.

The Imperial throne has the best interests of its loyalists in mind. We have proven ourselves time and time again. I have no faith in those golden geese who kept fabled 'starkmanir' as their playthings - them, their families and pets can suffer whatever fate Her Majesty sees fit. Let those Ammatar whose Devotion, Fanaticism and Tenacity shines forth be of the favoured.

The offer to come back to Pator, of course. And don't think that was only directed at Ms. Shern; if you so wish you may return as well, Scagga, as well as the rest of the AFC and our Ammatar brethren.
Yes, I'm being serious. No, I don't expect you to take me up on this offer. But I do enjoy surprises, and I am only letting you know that your doors are still open.

Tha vacuum will last briefly, I'm sure. Lord Ardishapur will probably restore the organization as it was, and make sure it is filled with stable and appropriate heads. Probably there will no longer be an independant Mandate, true, but none of us Lesser Races had kept our own states, so that is not necessarily a bad thing.

This betrayal strikes deep. It shows us Amarr that many of the Nefantar do not truly believe in the Empire, only seek to use the Empire as long as it serves there own selfish needs.
The Mandate needs to have True Ammatar to lead it: those Minmatar who have truly risen above their barbaric, ape-like tribalism to embrace the Will of God and their servitude of Holy Amarr. I am sure that there are many who have. We Amarr must now be careful whom we appoint to lead the Mandate: for the sake of our own security and of those loyal Ammatar who represent the best hope that the Minmatar are not all sub-human barbarians, incapable of achieving salvation.
Time will tell. ---------------

Wrong, you are Nefantar and Nefantar are Minmatar.

Minmatar by nature are opportunists. Never trust a Minmatar.

There are no Minmatar who can rise above their barbaric, ape-like tribalism. There are only Minmatar who can fool some credulous Amarr. After more than 500 years of trying we should recognize the truth.
I don't know what to say about your silly idea to appoint a 'True Ammatar' as leader after Lady Sarum gave control to Yonis Ardishapur. Do you fear you will no longer be able to kiss the asses of self declared, wannabe minmatar saints, nobles and whatever?
I am confident Yonis Ardishapur will handle the Nefantar problem, continue the work Idonis Ardishapur had begun and punish those who tried to act against house Ardishapur.

500 years is nothing compared to the age of our ancient Empire. Ultimately, God will decide if any of that race is worthy of enlightenment and salvation. The "Minmatar" problem will be solved in time. Whether that takes another 500 years or 5000, only God knows.
My idea is not for the Ammatar to have complete sovereignty, but they need True Ammatar to look up to. When their appointed leaders show themselves to be nothing more than opportunists, blowing any which way the wind takes them, its shows how much further they have to go as an "civilized" people. The Empire must look much closer as to whom "lead" the Ammatar.
In the meantime, I believe Lord Ardishapur will do a fine job supervising the Mandate. ---------------

Lord Arderich, I've seen many Amatarr fight in the frontlines for the Empire, killing and dying for it. If you believe the Empire is only a thing of Amarr, where are you? I haven't seen you even near the battlelines in all this time of combat. Isn't it your sacred duty too to answer the call of the Scriptures and the Empress and go forth and Reclaim?
And, before you say it, I have seen many Khanid replying to the call of the frontlines too, because there are only one set of Scriptures.

The Ammatar vacancy in leadership will be filled by the ruling of the Empress and the future is bright for the Mandate and those of Minmatar heritage who serve the empire. I would not fear this ruling rather look at it as a gift by the Empress for the Ammatar that they continue on the path of obedience and enlightenment. We all serve and obey. The blessings of God leave no doubt.
