since it is the biggest pain in the ass to share bokmarks between people, even more so with an alliance:
why not just remove bookmarks as an item entirely? make them transferrable via evemail, as an attachment.
woudl amke sense since SUPPOSEDLY they are electronic coordinates, not the freaking slab of ten cammandments (cause yeah, they ARE that important in wormholes).
but allowing them for attachments would allow an allaince-leader to bulk-mail the BM's to either a select few, or to the alliance in general with the daily sig updates, which would make WH life tons easier without actually changing much.
now i egt it, there coudl be coding issues with putting what the database would conisder items into mail, and there would undoubtedly be bugs early on, but could we at elast look into this? |

Why not just give those with appropriate roles in an alliance's Executer Corp the ability to make alliance wide bookmarks, in the same vein as the corp bookmarks we currently have? Your system seems a little on the complicated side. |

Actually this used to be possible in the early days of EVE. You could just drag a bookmark onto a EVE-mail to send it as an attachment. Don't know why it was removed though.

agreed with this, while i was in a WH before corp bookmarks i always wished you could share BMs in a EVEMail.
AFK cloaking doesn't earn anything, so it needs a buff! |
