Well deserved. But it's like I said in the other thread: don't count our numbers of subscribed pilots. We are the underdogs. We have nothing to counter that. Lost two Vigils, other lost tens or hundreds millions in this fight. The Amarr are anything but unbeatable but not by us. We'd really like, we tried, he could nothing do but watch it going down.
If there would be a chance to counter the famous 10 minutes after the holy hour of the Amarr during the rest of the day we'd have a chance with our hit and run fleets. But it's not like that and so you win - again. Good fighting anyway. I wish we could give you some beatings for this.
And again your slaverfrighters are warping in, again the orbital bombardement is beginning, again your inquisition is going on planet to find the left behind troublemakers and Mitar rebells and do some unspeakable things to them. For us nothing to celebrate.
Sorry that I missed the final fight, for I had to do logistics after the last two losses due to run out of material. It's not much we can give but we give all we can. Sorry Mitar brothers that it was not more.

It did my Kameiras some good to see action again, you have to keep them sharp after all. And I doubt Nephilim Xeno minds having his Armageddon polished by the hands of the prisoners of war that have been taken, it served me well during the assault.
I salute you, my fellow militia members. Amarr victor!

Congratulations on your persistence.
However, I'd suggest that it may be time to pause for a short while, maybe a week. Dig in and defend.
See how Mr. Shakor and the Republic react.
This is an opportunity for them to show Empress Jamyl what they intend to give to the Empire, and therefore wish to receive in return, as per her speech.
Should they launch a further attack, well then. They give war, they receive it.
Should they however, stay where they are, they will show that they aren't the mindless barbarians that the hardliners say they are, and perhaps a settlement can be reached. If they give the Empire peace, then Empress Jamyl will give them peace.

Edited by: Veshta Yoshida on 12/11/2008 17:22:37 After months of war reclaiming that which was lost in the barbaric and unprovoked attack upon Amarrian sovereign space, the legions of the Empire stand ready to end this dispute once and for all.
"Run and you shall be crushed. Stand and you shall fall. Kneel and you shall be saved."

Heed the words of times past and repent, you may still be saved. Ask your brothers and sisters of the Ammatar about the benevolence and wisdom shown by the Empire when it is requested.

Edited by: Aldrith Shutaq on 12/11/2008 20:05:28 Wonderous new, Amarr Vitctor! I was there only twelve hours ago, and was discouraged after they took several complexes, nearly decontesting it. But now this news so suddenly? I am overjoyed and priase all who took part in the final push, whoever you may be.
It would seem my impressions of the front were not as bad as I thought they were; most of the time I'm on duty the Matari run rampant. I see my reservations were misplaced, but I will not let my faith wane again.
Glory to the Empire, may it stand until the end of days, just and proud.

It would seem to me that the TLF and many of the alliances supporting it have become crippled over time, while the Crusade has only become more unified and perfected its methods of the taking of systems.
Now, let us pray that the Saint's tomb is still intact. ----------------------------------------------

No but honestly, how is this still happening when the Imperial Crusade pilots don't actually occupy any low-security bleakland systems for more than a few hours at any given time. I do believe whatever means CONCORD is using to determine occupancy claims is flawwed.

No, it means your system of thinking in obsolete.
Space Superiority over the immediate area of a stargate or station is a meaningless concept when we are talking about entire systems changing hands. The only time space superiority matters is when there are deadspace facilities on the line.
This war is not about pod pilots, we are but tools in the hands of the Empires, but rather about the Empires themselves.

I find it odd how you claim the system of Kourmonen. Every day pirates kill at will in that very system and you do nothing. You merely claimed a complex within Kourmonen, we pirates are the ones with true control.

Oh, give it a rest, pilot. It's not as though "capsuleer pirates" are a single united organization.

Also, I feel obliged to note that the most most likely command platforms used in the battle - either the at least Navy or possibly even Imperial standard Apocalypse battleships as well as the Aeon motherships - are more than capable of withstanding a blast from an Aurora Ominae device. But as mentioned by admiral Lokri, on the age of FTL communications direct command at the field is possible even remotely, though I would assume that the commander of the fleet was present as Kador Family tends to be rather traditionalist. However, tactical and strategic command are two different things: A fleet can act on direct orders of someone even without the person being present.

I guess congratulations are in order. The Minmatar fought well but all of the Empire is now back in the Empire's hands. It will be the Minmatar that defend now; I wonder how that will go.
Time will tell.

*chuckles* Intresting view on the situation, all that killing and control you have, and you + the minnies still were unable to stop us from reclaiming the system, where is all this control coming from? Killing does not mean you have control, it means your just a murderer.

It's not the Minmatar and pirates trying to STOP you. It's the Minmatar trying to stop you, and pirates flailing their arms about trying to kill everyone. They have been a thorn in the Republic's side for a while now, or so I'm told.
Get your facts straight.

Prehaps I should have been more specific in my statement, but it is amusing how you are trying to put spin on my very basic statement, another way of looking at is that I was merely indicating that we still take systems having to deal with the Min's and the pirates at the same time, and in no way did I indicate that they are working together

"all that killing and control you have, and you [pirates] + the minnies still were unable to stop us from reclaiming the system"
Actually it can very easily be taken as a statement that the pirates and Minmatar's are working together. The whole you + the minnies think kind of gave it away.
Btw, the emphasis is mine.
