Links don't work. Occasionally it might double load the client from accidental double clicking. |

It was rude to my dog, so I shot it. No more issues here. Anyone with any sense has already left town. |

Yeah, quite a few people have brought up the issue. Not a big deal except for it slows down my ol computer when it double loads. Just getting the links means hoping they are on site or in game news instead. Real pain if I want to read patch notes. |

Start EVE by running the "exefile.exe" from the bin folder directly, this ignores the launcher.
This solved a lot of my problems I have. |

This solved a lot of my problems I have. There's actually an option in the Launcher settings menu that tells it to only load when there's a patch.
It does take an annoyingly long time to patch when there is one, though. Stealth OST puns and blatant lies since 2009 Jace Errata on Twitter

Good answer to a point but, it doesn't fix the launcher link issue. |

I disagree, it's far far faster than the previous system, where I would launch eve, go do something, and I have to press okay to start the download. Alt+tab, comeback later, ope, now I need to restart eve. Patch begins installing, far slower than current patcher, eventually is done, and eve doesn't restart. Meh, I'll take the sexy launcher. I usally write one of these and then change it a month later when I reread it and decide it sounds stupid. |
