To organize items and monitor prices across regions I was thinking of just market logging everything and then sorting them into appropriate folders. The problem, however, is that market dumps are impossible to read.
Stupid question, but is there any program or something to organize the logs so that they're readable, or should I just make a spreadsheet?

The market dump is a CSV. Just rename the file to CSV and run it through Excel's "Text in columns" or however that is called in your language... Voila.... readable...

Not yet, I am currently talking with eve-central about uploading to them from my site. My site grabs the market data from eve-central, so if you upload it there within an hour it will be on my site. But like I said - talking to eve-central.com about an upload straight from my site for market dumps + buy/sell orders. Web based Asset Manager |

Interesting. I don't have Excel on this computer although I think I could get it.
Thanks

Then perhaps you'll suggest your website and service where your website and service is relevant. Popping up in random threads saying, "Me", is ... well ... lame. To the op: You can try OpenOffice as well. CSV is not an exclusive to excel format.

OpenOffice.org. I use that for excel work since I'm on a Mac and don't want to give Bill money for Office or Excel.

Quite alright actually. I don't use OpenOffice at all. Got Office 2007 for $45 so I'm fine with the package. (Corporate Home Deal) Besides my friends, family, co-workers, basically everyone else in my life I'd bother sharing documents with uses Office. I'm working on getting them not to use IE first... then Office. Someday.

They are already in that format. The logs just end with "txt". They are still csv's (comma separated values).

What I read:
So Eve assets handles these asset sells from the star store.
Even saying it in my *head* is tough.

Thanks for all the help. I find that just spamming the EXPORT TO FILE button on all the stuff I want (+ doing it for the same items on my alts located in other regions) and then checking it out on EVECentral tends to fit my needs.
