Our ancestors freed their souls of all evils and set their course for the creation of a glorious Empire. Give thy grace, we humbly beseech thee, to us their children, that we may always approve ourselves as a people mindful of thy favour and glad to do thy will. To be able to defeat the enemies of the outside and to control the enemies within, thee have given the power to the Emperor to harness the Good and punish the Evil. Please Lord, we now ask thee, hold thy hand over our new Empress and protect Empress Jamyl from all evil that may beset Her Highness. Empress Jamyl Sarum does not share the ideal taht all races are equal. She believes only about True Amarr Supremacy. She may not be of direct descent from Jamyl as she claims, but to be perfectly frank, there are a lot of members of all six High Families (that is, the Five Great Houses and Khanid). Not all of them are entitled to make a claim for the throne, but still have the right to use the family name. The monosylabic Gaius Kador, for instance, can claim direct descent from the Kador family and thus is able to use the name (although how well he upholds the honour of his family name is, of course, open to debate). Gaven Lok'ri, I believe (and for once, I will defer to him if I am wrong, for he does of course have a much better knowledge of his lineage than I) has Sarum blood - or at least, I seem to remember that being stated somewhere. I think that PIE also has someone with Kor'Azor descent, although their name escapes me. Amusingly enough, I have no idea who Rodj Blake's ancestors are. All I know is that they're frightfully unlucky. But nowhere near as much, "Ms." Neferis, as yours.

And as for Dam Torsad, I probably know more about it than you, but then, once again, I have access to the family records that you seem to lack. I'd like to point out that a great deal of treads on the summit regarding matters other than the Amarr, such as the dealings of the tribals, see alot of involvement from "noble" Amarrian loyalists that likes to spread their oppinions on themselves, and their opponents; at times despte of requests to stop, iirc. And I would also like to offer my prayers for our new Empress, as well as for the fine men and women fighting on the front lines. The capsuleers, of course, who are leading the fight, but we must also pray for the crewers aboard the ships. We lead the war, but they fight it.
