lolwut? didnt get the "evil vibe" from that trailer at all, what i DID get was that russians dont take **** and they fight tow in, but isnt that all of eve anyways? (and IMO if we ahd a burn them all "scorched earth" option for everything i GUARANTEE 90% of eve woudl sue it).

now i can undersatnd that the anti-russianism is a bad thing, but the trailer really doesnt do anything to put a negative aspect about the russians, IMO they were the ebst aprt of the trailer.

That's all right, a lot of Russians seem to exhibit an "anti-everyoneelse" sentiment in EVE, it's only fair that both sides are represented And don't ask me which came first because I suffer from neither such sentiment, it's probably a chicken-and-egg thing and a "let's band together!" survival tactic (actually, a lot of it seems to be language-motivated as many Russian players reeeeeally don't know English very well at all and can't communicate in the lingua franca of EVE, gotta stick with your own kind)

I spent time nitpicking and coming up with bullshit, and now... My poast has been ruined with statements that are fairly truthful and worse yet, rational. Aw. Y???? But for reals, I love that trailer for multiple reasons. a) it showcases EVE playerbase's multi-cultural, multi-lingual aspects b) included a woman although females are apparently EVE's 1% (well, 5%), let's say that it was done for reasons of "women can be ~bros~ too" rather than to say "single male mouthbreathers, GIRLS also play this game"' c) Amarr ships ARE the badassiest fuckin mothafuckas and Revelation was my first dread d) IT'S SO DRAMATIC AND AWESOME AND POWERFUL (and then you go play with sov in reality...
