Sorry but it's BST (British Summer Time, or if you an really old git British Standard Time 1968-1971), GMT is what we use during the winter! |

I see a lot of whiners here, could it be you forget to set long skills perhaps? Everyone knows patches generally take longer than expected, it is a unfortunate drawback that things do go wrong. Deal with it and stop the hate
The game will be up when it is up and we can all experience the lag of login as xxx people log into the game. Losing a bit of time does not make that much difference, and you can make the lost isk up easily enough when the game is running.

I would like to say that waiting for a patch on EvE is a hell of alot more entertaining that waiting for one on WoW.
As for the patch, at this rate we will begin the Amarr / Minmatar jokes very soon to the joy of all |

The deployment of Empyrean Age 1.1.1 has been extended to 17.00 GMT, Tuesday 30 September, in order to fix a critical issue with this patch.
It does amaze me, that with all the resources available to CCP, you still manage "to go beyond your extended, extended update schedules" I know how important updates are for the smooth running of the gameplay, but why, patch after patch do we still hear the same excuses? You have test servers to iron out bugs or so you say, but almost every patch update you implement causes us the eve paying community so much frustration, it is us that gaming public that have to put up with extended downtimes and unscheduled reboots, and do will receive any compensation, "very rarely" Come on guys, don't patch anything unless it's been 200% tested before hand. Get it right first time before you patch it to the Eve community, |

Originally by: Derviona OMG what are you all whining, those guys (dunno if gals are involved in it) are doing their best, they try to make the game enjoyable for you guys so that you won't encounter problems.
Even i told my alliance to set a skill longer then a day, cause i know that if there is a patch, always bugs are discovered that needs to be fixed. And about the payment, true you pay to play, but sometimes maintenance is needed to keep being able to play the game.
If they would have brought it online with these errors in it, you would be more ****ed then that they are fixing it now. Better prevent petitions and enjoying the game then petition errors and it takes a long while before they respond and fixing it.
Always expect extended extended downtime by ccp, they can better discover the problem early then too late.
Why is there not a message to train an extended skill with the dt from CCP seeing as they are responsible. Why should it be up to the alliance members?
That is a lack of knowledge of the future from the experience of the past.
It doesn't take long to explain to new players that we EXPECT a dt to extend to such and such a time but it it not likely in our past experience.
Once again I expect they are working their tired asses off to fix it. Doesn't make it right. |
