Do all hi-quality (say, 15 and above) L4 agents give out missions that may require you to do the mission in low-sec, or only some? If it is the latter, how does one check without going to each agent individually and trying out missions for them?

Edited by: Conrad Murphy on 30/09/2008 11:04:06 Wether an agent sends you to lowsec is purely a question of location: A highsec agent located in a system with one or two lowsec systems next door will send you to lowsec often. AFAIK, agent quality has nothing to do with it.
If you want to avoid going to lowsec (or having to turn down missions) at all cost, look at the map and only deal with agents located in constellations that contain no lowsec systems. In practise, an agent with no lowsec next door but some lowsec within 2 jumps is workable with turning down any lowsec missions, since you should hardly get any...

Agent quality has nothing to do with it, only location matters. That said, one of the best agents in the game (I will not say who) is located right next door to a low sec system and yet even after hundreds of missions he has never sent me into low sec. Some agents are just wierd like that. Best way is to simply run some missions for the agent and find out. If they are 5+ jumps from low sec you shouldn't get a low sec mission but just because they are 1 jump from low sec doesn't mean they will ever give you a low sec mission.

Only location matters
agents will not send you across constellation borders on kill missions, thats why some agents can be located right next to lowsec and only send you there on courier missions

The reason Vir Honn doesn't send you from Emolgranlan into Eifer is because the two systems are in different constellations.
