Hello all fellow pilots out there Well this is a silent cry for help by anyone or just a general gripe , personally im a just over a year hulk pilot who enjoys sitting in belts mining and building stuff to sell in Jita, Now im part of a newbee corp called Eve Unity , we are a small corp with alot of newbee frig pilots who are still learning the basics of the game. Anyhow we have for some unknown reason been war dec'd by an experienced corp who all fly around in tech 2 ships. Needless to say yes i know this is the way of eve but personally i think this is abit unfair picking on the newbees, 1 not only do these guys show as bullies and have no honor but 2. they are down right cowards as we dont stand a hope in hell. So anyhow alot of the corp are feeling down hearted by this and some of the new guys are even thinking of quiting eve altogether as they cant even undock in Poinen. So if anyone wants to share a view on this or even offer assistance please help. Oh they are called Merchant Trade Consortium , ( sounds a strange name for a bunch of no honor battleship pilots seeing as all they do is attack newbees)
So not expecting any help as this is eve but as i say this is a gripe :)
Fly safe all

I don't know. This kind of situation reminds me of my old days when help in this sort of thing would have been lovely. But here's the clincher, the most important question of all - what's help worth to you?
You tell people what you're willing to pay, and you'll see help springing up from anywhere and everywhere. -----

If you have the isk, hiring a merc corp to fight on your behalf. If not, get into cheap cruisers and go pewpew. Per Ardua ad Astra - Through Adversity, to the Stars

If your willing to pay then yes mercenary work is what you would need.
However it could also benefit you since your corp is small and is industrial to make those n00b frigate pilots learn to do battle even in a loss they may learn and come back each time a bit wiser perhaps.
Or mayhap recruit some pilots that can and will fight if you think fighting is the way to go.

Your request for help is not really silent, but no matter.
If your not intending to fight yourself, or, if you simply can't, due to being absolutely outnumbered and outgunned... hiring mercenaries might save your day.
The draw-back is that it will cost you a bit if isk, how much depends on the corp you hire. And of course, hiring mercenaries involves a degree of risk, simply because you are not guaranteed that your hired guns will manage to resolve your problems.
Anyhow, having said all that, I'd like to inform you that my corporation is indeed an aspiring mercenary wing. If you have not had any luck in the war so far, or have not hired any mercs yet and perhaps wish to do so, contact my CEO and you can go over the details with her.
((OOC: This is the summit, and your post is slightly ooc :P I think however that your merely new and asked for help in more than one place, so your forgiven, by me at least:) If you still have not been in contact with anyone to help you and your new members (it would be a shame if they left, but, these things happen. Oh well, can go over that reality of EVE at another time.) you may feel free to contact my CEO, Ayalen, as I said.
If you explain the matter, you might end on an acceptable price that fits your wallet and your needs, after all we are relatively new and, in need to build our name. More experienced merc outfits can probably guarantee more results but I think they will ask for more pay as well, and for good reasons.
In case you don't see this, I'll send you a mail as well.))

Larger corp than you?
This means there are more targets =o) This also means your corp gets combat training This means you can make the war unprofitable to them, they would have to kill 100's of your frigates to make up the isk if you managed to take out a single t2 bs of theirs. (and yes, it can be done)
Rally your new pilots, tell them that death is just the begining, learnign to defend yourselves is vital for any corp. Maybe someone has the time to give you some tactical advice and coaching

Edited by: Na''Thuul on 29/09/2008 13:37:14 You have a golden opportunity to learn the joys of wolfpack-combat young one. Grab it!
Get in a bunch of cheaply fitted frigates and roam for lonely wartargets. When you find someone on their own in a BS, you've struck jackpot. Get in tight, orbit fast and he will be reduced to dust without any chance in Jita of getting out or hitting your ships.
Just a tip though... Stay away from Dominixes... *laughs* |

Well I have a lot to offer in this case. First off this is a great way to get more war dec's on yah. Advertising that your corp is always accepting new players and that you cant defend yourself. well all I need now is the agent search.
2nd Make sure you inform your members not to do newbie type things inform them of the dangers of accepting flipped cans talking in local about problems they may face. bla bla ( Back in the day I remember when I could ask for ammo and somebody could leave a can outside the station for the stuff you need ) 5 years later and everybody is afraid of who's gonna be the next big bully
you almost have to always make sure your fellow friends and members understand that its more about watching how they conduct themselves in space. When you start working at a job you dont constantly ask everybody for help.. and you sure dont tell people you dont know how to do the job you applied for. This is Space ! The Wild West , Treat it as such , its the experience and the thrill that make it what it is. There are pirates and there are thugs and Gangsters to boot you just have to figure out how you are going to play the game smart and work around it. The good old days when I started playing are gone now and I have had to re learn how to play over and over again every major patch and change its all about how you adapt. Feel free to convo me if you seek further advice
