Barely 15 minutes after her first announcement and you start your rabble. As for the silence... it's rather difficult to hear it over your pointless blathering.

Name: Mistress Inara Subaka of the united, holder of planetary and orbiting estates in Rancer of the Sing Laison region. Miss Subaka will suffice however.
Race: By birth I am Caldari, more specifically Achura.
As for what makes me a celebrity... *a smirk crosses her face* I don't support any of the "pirate nations", but I live and occasionally loose ships by the code of hostile negotiations and business practices. My corp or even the mention of the area I now call home strikes fear into many, I have intercepted communications from some of the "academy" corporations (SWA, SAK, IAC, etc..) in which foolish people are told to visit my home systems.
Not to mention, I'd just love to get one of these beautiful pieces and I'm certain I could pull off wearing such things more than others... perhaps that is why Pilot Erajen is so contrite, he could never wear such elegant things without people questioning many things about him.

Those are some lovely pieces... And well chosen too. If I had less self-control (and the the knowledge that I would even be granted such a gift) I would probably nominate myself... One can never have too much fine jewellry!

Brrr. Celebrities, that's just an other word for aristocracy but without the bloodline. There is something wrong in it. I don't want to destroy the illusion of beeing important to the world, but we all will vanish unnoticed if the time comes. The only thing that stays will be our deeds and those are the juwellery to wear for a warrior. Especially for a Sebiestor one. Carry your bric-a-brac and enjoy it, but it does not mean anything. The only thing that matters is when the people rise and shout and you give them the will and the power and motivation to change something.
And that is not rewarded with juwels or gold, this is rewarded by love and eternaty. I strongly reject a king, a duke, a bishop or whatever beeing tries to level himself higher than the common man. I'd assume you give a medal to one of those unnamed miners out in the belts who have to fight for survival every day and which in the end power all of our societies.
I'd assume you give a medal to one of those unnamed trader which dare to cross pirate infested losec and even deliver their good to Rancer or other dangerous sectors. For they give the common man to eat and to drink.
I'd assume you give a medal to one of those unnamed warriors that fight for the freedom of our republic and die a thousand deaths under the burning lasers of our enemys, just to get back one contested system for the honour of his people.
I'd assume you give a medal to one of those unnamed slaves, that suffer in the Amarr empire and never will given word.
But don't give it to one of us. Cause we just talk. There is nothing special in talking. The thing that is important is the deed. If you do something extraodinary then you shall be rewarded. If you manage to bring people together, then there should be a reward. And this reward is the thing itself.
Don't rise those who just talk or are on telly to the sky. Those poeple mean nothing. Nothing! Where are the poets of our time? The popstars that have nothing to say? Who is a V.I.P.? Some politican, that only administer in the name of the people?
I say: no.
I reject that there are celebrities at all. There is honour some people really have earned respect. But is such a person a celebrity? I think not.
The need of people to make kings and queens sometimes amazing me. People, rise your heads! There is no god above in sky! The last instance of anything is just you. You make the world, you are responsible. There is nobody who can help, nobody you can give your burden to. If you fail, you live in misery, if you win, you will ascent. Not to sky or heaven, just from slave to living man!
So drop the tinker and give it to those how don't have anything to eat on the lower platforms of our space stations, where most capsuleers never go. Cause we are eternal and don't die. But we are nothing special, we are just serving our people. We are not higher, we are lowest, cause we are serving the common man.
And this is the reason I don't think we should accept to be made celebrities. Even if I don't want to spoil the party. Cause the pride will fall if their pride is not backed by deed. And there is no pride without deed, just dazzlement.
Do what you want with the tinker, but humility would be a better jewellery for anyone. Never thought I could someday sound like an Amarr priest, sorry for that.

Time comes for a little pause on delivering the gifts to issue a note of appreciation to pilots who have had the courtesy to come here and thank me for the gifts.
Mistress Inana Subaka, Sepherim, Kai Zion, your notes are received and certainly in a time not long to come we will have the chance to speak personally once again.
The jewels are exclusive gifts coming with a note that only befits the captain in question and having a personal understanding of it.
Miss Blanche, Your request has not passed my eyes without notice. It's unfortunate that at this time, I must decline your request not for the reason of finding you not deserving it, every capsuleer is a celebrity himself /herself for have made it so far. It's simply by the fact that I don't know you enough to make an assesment of your ideologies and modus operandi and produce a piece of art accordingly.
Time will certainly rectify this issue and I'm sure to be delivering you a gift on next years edition.
We will continue now with the delivery and I'll make another pause to answer questions and more thank you notes as it comes.
