Edited by: Thea Arsoniztik on 18/09/2008 17:11:10 If you were given the opportunity to select 3 skills to have instantly trained to level 5, what would you choose?
What skills have you been putting off to the side for a while, but still want to have at level 5?
The only rule is that the skills have to already be on your character sheet.
I would choose: Capital Ships, Battlecruisers, and Heavy Drones.
There's so many other skills that I would have liked to pick, but I suppose those would be my first choices

If that means I get the prereqs too, I'd probably get Amarr Titan 5, Gallente Titan 5 and Caldari Titan 5

Only rule to this is that the skills need to be in your character sheet already :)

Edited by: Abrazzar on 18/09/2008 17:18:02 Heh. Caldari Freighter 5, Gallente Freighter 5 and Minmatar Freighter 5. I already have Amarr Freighter up some, so I'd do that one manually.
Edit: Meh, with that rule, I'd have to limit myself to the industrial skills at 5 and learn freighters myself.

Edited by: Thea Arsoniztik on 18/09/2008 17:20:59 Yeah, meh to the rule...but I thought of this topic when I was looking at my character sheet. I was thinking about how I have all these skills at level 4, but when it comes to taking them to level 5 i tend to get lazy and train something else instead...even though I REALLY want them at 5 (ofc!)

Did you just edit that rule in? ^^ Well then I'd get ehm.. battlecruisers 5, recon 5 and hac 5. Just because they're among the longer skills to train atm.

Polaris. I think it's the only skill that has itself as a prerequisite, meaning it's impossible to train it even if you somehow managed to get your hands on the skillbook.
Seriously though, I think caldari, amarr and minmatar drone specialisation skills. I trained up the gallente one and haven't had the heart to train the others. It just feels like a waste of time when I already have the gallente one and there are other things to train.

what If I have all the prereqs and just not the skill book (would gladly take amarr carrier, fighters, and capital remote reps then)
if I have to pick from whats currently there, dunno.... therm/kin/explosive comp 5? or large pulse spec, large beam spec, rapid firing 5? or marauders, heavy assault ships, and caldari battleship (yea just for the nightmare, or else I think I would take galletne bs5, but not in the sheet.)

Just 3
At this point in time I would have to say...please don't laugh ... but since I am still relatively new and the training time would not be taken then I would actually choose Logic 5, Focus 5, Clarity 5. All my other skills, at this point are very tolerable training time to level 5 that or they are already close to level 5, so why not take the extra plus 2 points to the arguably 3 most improtant learning skills.
If truely given the option and the indivudal said that was not an option, then the 3 most skill intensive skills I have at this point are cloaking, battlecruisers, and surgical strike

Actually, I don't think that bumping those learning skills is a horrible idea. Hell, most people just train those up to lvl 4 and forget about it. You'd be amoung a handful of people to actually bother taking those to 5.

I'd go for trading skills. It'd be nice to instantly be in a freighter, but it'd be even better to have the earning potential to buy a few of them once the skill is done training.

Should I feel warm and fuzzy that I already have most of the most frequently mentioned skills at V?
In my case:
Cyno Theory V Jump Drive Operation V Research Project Management V
I nominate Advanced Spaceship Command V as the most painful skill to get. Does *NOTHING* until it's at V since it's a prereq to get the skills to fly ships which benefit from it. Definitely in my top 10 skills to train while account is not funded.

Already got ASC 5.
I might go with Amarr Battleship, Advanced Weapon Upgrades, and Large Energy Turret. These are all I need in order use both Dreads AND Carriers for Amarr.
Or I could also go with Amarr, Caldari, and Gallente Cruisers. This would be preferable since I have no ISK for cap ships and I really prefer cruiser-sized things anyway.
