Okay for some reason I cant buy stuff off the market anymore within the region that I am in and so are my corp/ alliance mates so just wondering if something changed without anyone knowing about it. Or if something got messed up.
I am getting the "No Match Error on whatever I try to buy, "Broker found no match for your order. Others might have been before you, or your quotes might be outdated."

Bug of the new patch. Keep trying until it works... ----------------- Destiny is not a matter of chance. It is a matter of choice. It's not a thing to be waited for - it is a thing to be achieved. |

Heh, I haven't gotten that one tonight but there is a new one informing me that the market is currently not working and that I should try again later.

I petitioned this several days ago and at first the GM seemed not to know what I was on about as if it hadn't been reported before. Several days later he acknowledged that there was a problem, but no idea when it will be fixed. At times in Jita hours can go by where I cannot buy anything, and my unsold sell order there (which are all best price) suggest that other people are unable to buy from me as well.
I recommend that everyone who experiences this issue petition it so that they know how many people are affected. Make sure you tell them what time on the Eve clock you get the message, and which system you are in.

If the problem is widespread, that means that a lot of artificial supply exceeding demand, as the buyers can't actually purchase the products they're after whilst the sellers keep undercutting themselves?

Yeah, simple (but boring) task of buying 15 materials is now 2 hours long clicking madness. How bugs like this can pass through Q&A I will never know.

Oh come on man, you know how this passes through Q&A. CCP has no "real" industrialist or traders on staff. This means that industrial and trader related stuff never gets truely abused during Q&A. This is my own opinion, but my observations lead me to really believe it. Ofc there are certainly some CCP staff who dabble in these things, but not to the extent some of us here in MD do. Of this I am certain. --

Its not that hard to work around.
Day long buy order, price you want to pay, once the order hits market it gets matched. I've only been affected when trying to buy directly off a sell order, but this work around has worked 100% for me over the last few days. FRPB Shares in Default |

Based on the nature of the problem, this workaround seems sound, but of course it will also add your broker fee to the total price. Perhaps that is well worthwhile to get your deals done, but it should be noted.

This bug is a complete terror effectivly putting a slice of my trading activities on complete hold.
Imagine if this were pvp related "your missiles cannot locate a target to shoot at" there would be a riot..
This is no less than a disaster for traders currently.

Well, that is good news: according to the Player News Center, this problem should be gone after the next downtime.
Aside: Hopefully they'll fix some website issues, too, so I will in future be able to reliably stay logged in across the 30 second span during which I preview a forum post before hitting "Post Reply". |

I have noticed the inability to buy problem since last patch. However more significant today is a total halt in the market. I have 4 different sell orders in dodixie that every week for the past 4 months would have sold at least 30% in the first day...have barely sold at all. Two orders have no sales even though being price changed every hours or so all day. I would say that in Dodixie epople are having major problems making a buy order work at all and are giving up until the patch comes out.
