Hey all,
I wont reveal much in this post, but a joint development effort between EVE-AU.com and Battleclinic currently requires a new coder/web-application specialist to help us begin development.
We had an awesome coder on the books to begin with but he has disappeared into the mist so to speak and none of us have heard from him.. Despite his excitement to work on the project and skills which would have made the work a piece of ****.
Basically we need someone for the following things: - HTML & PHP - Authentication and Security Setup - Content Management Experience & Back-end Admin Panel Construction
Incentives: The person who helps us with this project will be eligible for billions of ISK and real currency for their work. We have a $500 budget set for the initial phase of development and both of these incentives will be delivered to the person who comes to work for us.
The Idea: Basically its a web-based dashboard/interface, with 6 separate applications that all tie together to provide a unified Corporation and Alliance management system. Its very complex and very ambitious, so the candidate must be a hardcore EVE fan and an excellent coder.
If you would like to partake and would like to read the 5 page design documentation, please drop me a line at: [email protected]

Isn't offering RL cash for services against the ELUA or am I reading it wrong?

The service will be free or a subscription based on a monthly ISK payment.
The services we seek are being paid out of the development funds and therefore not against policy.

this has nothing to do with ingame, they need a web dev and are willing to pay, where better to find an entusiastic employee than the people who play the game? -----------------------------------------------

Actually parts of the service will be in-game eventually. We are anticipating when the IGB is upgraded the service may be 90% in-game compatible..
But still if it is in-game, it doesn't violate the terms and conditions as the only asking payment would be in ISK form.

I wish you good luck, however the "We are anticipating when the IGB is upgraded" is a path you should make less prioritized if any, since rumors are the IGB isn't high on CCP's list at all.

Priorities are as follows:
1) Web based 100% functional application 2) Part of it working in the current IGB 3) When the new IGB comes out in how ever many years, make sure (1) works with it

I am a graphic designer with speicalist knowlege of XHTML, CSS and Photoshop, im currently studying my microsoft masters certification in web design and adobe certified professional certification in dreamweaver and photoshop.
Im interested in talking with you (when i get home from work) about anything i can offer to you and your websites for ISK payment not $$$

I expect that the same applies for advertising the desire to buy services as it does to advertising the sale of services.
Try a different forum, maybe Scrapheap or something.

Battleclinic is providing the ISK incentives for this project. They have lots of isk from the Griefwatch subscriptions.

Payment is now $1,000 USD and 2 Billion ISK.
We have 2 coders currently working with us. 1 went AFK, the other needs the following helper:
- API specialist - PHP knowledge, including CMS style work desirable
Current Team: Ben - EVE-AU.com (Me, Project Designer & Manager) Chris - Battleclinic (Owner & Financier) Dan - Battleclinic (Project Manager) Chester (Cypher Umos) - Cypher Technologies (Lead Coder) Rob (Arisin) - Solo (Secondary Coder - AFK)
WARNING - We have already gone through 5 nancy-boy coders who couldn't cut it. This project is top of the line, it is hardcore and it will really test your skills. ONLY THE TRULY HARDCORE CODERS NEED APPLY

I would be willing to come aboard. Unfortunately I'm not a big ASP guy, but I was formally employed as a software engineer for the US based VoIP company called Vonage.
Let me know if you still need a PHP coder, I'd be willing to work for ISK only.
