If it was a real sand box, players who dont want to pirate, gank in high sec, or war dec mission running corps - would be able to mark you guys and make you KOS then gang up to kill you with a zerg any time you entered high sec. It would be like the towns people with pitch forks stringing up a few bandits.
But as it is you are protected so suck it up and endure the modest protections being given to players in high sec.
If you think corp is different than a guild or clan you have some insecurity issues.

They need the meme's such as risk vs reward, golden ratio, EVE IS A PVP GAME ONLY!!!! or they will get all lonely and confused.

The chance of getting high sec players organised and willing to do something like that is close to zero.
It would be a lot more fun than the silly concord. Vote against the nano nerf! |

Yeah, half of them are alts of 0.0 and low-sec people looking for a ISK printing machine.

Edited by: Ghoest on 03/09/2008 22:58:31 1 You dont need organization f you can just do a townsfolk mob style zerg. The key here is permanently marking bad guys and making them free targets in high sec once they are bad enough.
2 Yep 0.0 earning money on missions is a lot of the high sec guys.

On the other hand I FULLY SUPPORT getting rid of concord and making me KOS to all high sec residents with security status of +5.0 or whatever. Bring it on. Sounds fun. --

CCP is never going to get rid of Concord pwning pirates who start fights in high sec.
But it would be easy enough for them to have Concord stop attacking for low faction.
Basically let anyone who wants go anywhere there want - but if you have low sec you would be a target of oher players.
It seems better for everybody than the current system.
If you think corp is different than a guild or clan you have some insecurity issues.

That would be awesome, quite frankly. To wit: I've suggested this type of game design many times over.
How to do it: allow anyone into high sec. Even -10 players. Allow them to roam around wherever they want. You want to have groups of 'good' players go after 'bad' players with pitchforks? Please do. All you need to do is allow pirates/anyone with low sec status to enter any security space. They can be attacked at will by any player (if they're -5.0 sec or lower) and can only return fire once attacked. It's like can flipping, but without the can. High sec standing players can engage freely against low sec standing players, and outlaw players have to behave, just as everyone does now otherwise be Concorded.
Oh, and if you really want to go after the existing 'bad guys', what is to stop multiple corps or alliances from war deccing the 'bad guys' and going after them yourselves?

If you're using the 'sandbox' analogy, it is most definitely a sandbox. The big, bad guy comes over and kicks sand in your face. What are you going to do about it? Cry, and run away? Or, pick up a rock, and smack him in the head?
Since when have you ever seen kids fighting in a sandbox, and one kid screams out, only to have the Teachers come over and beat the shit out of the other kid?
Man, you need to work on your analogies.

p.s. Your idea is dumb.

Next time he's/she's/it's going snap his fingers and say "oh no you di'nt girlfriend"
Also, personally i don't get why people whine about so many people in highsec and not enough in lowsec, I'm thinking maybe if every time they went to lowsec they didn't get blobbed more people would go there and not have to spend their time making the isk to get another ship.

Yep just like phrases and buzz words such as "cold and harsh" and "ludicrous speed" were posted at one time or another and everyone thinks it is cool to repeat them over and over.
Not to mention some geek looked up some Latin and now everyone trying to appear intelligent uses "ad hominem" accusations to refute arguments.
