Edited by: Soban Vuex on 27/08/2008 01:15:11 I have made a schematic for 3 POSes, size/faction is not important at the moment. My question lies in the simple reactions output 200, complex require 100, so ive made the following setup of 2 large to not lose the left over 100, but im wondering on the following From POS 1 i have Simple Reactor who outputs in Silo, then that silo goes in Complex Reactor, but in the same time(from time to time) i get some portion of the simple reaction from POS 1 silo out of it and move it to POS 2, you will see it marked in a red oval my biggest wondering, witch atm is the thing i have no asnwer and OP is on halt
Figure:
Thank you in advance

No problem here, i think. But this setup will require attention daily.

You can do that with daily attention, 1 medium POS and 2 large. Or alternately you can do it with 3 large and only require attention every 8 days 8 hours. (if you put both simple reactors on the third POS and just have the harvester/silo + complex reaction on the first 2 towers.
IMO it's well worth it for the very minimal extra cost (you will still make a significant profit in comparison, and I once ran over 32 towers myself using this method, while I couldn't even run a single set if it required daily attention.).

Edited by: Raindeth on 28/08/2008 13:32:46 Using caldari type tower [edit: for POS1] would allow you to link TWO silos for your final output which only has to be attended to every 3 days.

Will work, but you will have no CPU left for any hardners/ewar/warp disruptors etc. Being as it has to be in lowsec, sounds like an ideal ransom target.

Those things you anchor but don't online....
When you're being ransomed, offline some other stuff (will cut down on your profits yes) and online the defense stuff.

Once your POS is in reinforced you can no longer online warp disruptors / hardners etc. So if you're not online at the time it gets attacked you're basically entirely dependent on defending it without those afterwards. It's just so much more effective with 'risk generating' defenses as without a warp disruptor there is nothing stopping anyone from having a go at it and just warping away if you show up. With a Warp Disruptor battery you generate risk in that they will not be able to escape if you arrive, and thus decrease the likelyhood of an attack. (Even if you save the tower a couple of days without production because it's in reinforced is not alot of fun, and you still face the prospect of it leaving reinforced before you notice if you're not on every day anyway.
But yeah, sure otherwise it works. Personally I always make any large towers I put up an absolute ***** for someone to take down.
