Was on the previous incarnation flying thanatos and moros, all I needed to do was learn the carrier / dread skill
Now I get to find that battleship 5 is removed from learning tree on the test server even though I have Gallente BS 5 on the main server that is allegedly only a week old and have had BS 5 for months if not years
Maybe they could take a current skill set and not one from last year ?

Id say that it should be changed to 7kms with faction + snakes and a claymore with top skills.
That is certainly preferable to being able to insta pop it without even tackling it...now that would be a broken game tbh.

Whatever number they give...triple it.Any earlier and its a bonus.

This unexpected downtime has nothing to do with the speed changes or testing thereof.
What happened is that shortly after 1 PM GMT yesterday (August 14th), a disk on a disk array on one of our database servers failed. The disk array is still rebuilding the failed disk as we speak and we have no ETA yet on when that will be finished.
The DB server contains only databases for test server, so no important data has been jeopardized. The Singularity database is fine, but the server is not in any shape to handle a cluster start-up now.
We hope that the server will be up during the weekend, however if this doesn't happen Monday afternoon is the next best date.
Apologizes again for the inconvenience and please believe us that this unexpected downtime is as troublesome for us as it is for you, perhaps even more so as our testing is being delayed.

better to get a surprise and see it up before monday
then to check every damn 3 hours and see its still down.

TBH I am just glad you guys inform us of whats going on. As a company you treat us as your equals, which you really don't find that elsewhere.
I play other mmo's and cant bear to stick around because of the simple fact that their devs just dont care as much as CCP's does.
