Although many of us are inclined to think it will be a nerf to missiles, perhaps at the same time they may fix citadel torps? After all, the word tweak doesnt ussually mean a negative..right?..right? (my hopes arent high) poudly annoying fc's since 2007

If something is broken/not working, you fix it. - I don't believe that Citadel torpedoes are broken, they are working (You fire them, they hit and do damage).
If something is imbalanced you tweak, tune or balance it. - You and some other people seem to believe that Citadel torpedoes are imbalanced. It is not my place to say what I think on this matter, but if you want to comment on new changes currently on Singularity or Tranquility you can post on this forum. If you want to comment/suggest new things (features and ideas) you should use the Features and Ideas discussion. Changes to Citadel torpedoes are of the later kind, since the changes to missiles are still on the drawing board.
If you want to be a part of the development and balancing of changes, I suggest you wait until they are available for testing and then give your feedback. Speculating randomly doesn't really give much. However if you have ideas or input on what future things should be tweaked; Like I said earlier, feel free to use the Features and Ideas discussion forum.

Right, when they aren't blown to pieces with a SB. That's the only thing I dislike with Citadel Torps, they need an HP buff.
I'm not saying that they need to be immune to SBs, that's part of the onus of missile systems. I'm just saying that they need to be a little harder to kill than they are.

Yes. And if you believe that, you may suggest changes to them in the "Features and Ideas" discussion forum. This forum is for changes that are available for testing.
"Test server feedback, comments to changes and fixes." meaning, comments/feedback to changes and fixes that are currently on the servers. Missile changes are not, therefore that "Feedback" or rather Speculation does not belong here.

Well, as said before I do not complaining about citadel torps versus smartbombs. I am complaining because what CCP Casqade said (quoted) is not entirely true.
Citadel torpedoes are broken with no damage when siege module is turn on/off. Torps fired with siege module off do no damage at targets if siege module goes on when torps are flying to target. The opposite is true either, if siege module is on and we fire a citadel torp, the torp will hit target for zero damage if the siege module goes off in the ôfly to targetö time.
That is the real parte of citadel torpedoes that is really broken. Not the smartbomb situation (with is game designed).

actually you are completely wrong, citadel torps in relation to siege cycle work fine.
starting a siege cycle removes lock from any target previously locked, and lowers the number of lockable targets to 2.
torpedoes are guided weapons, as such they must have a lock on a target and be GUIDED.
activating a module that removes your target lock, removes information about that lock being transfered to the torp. hence, no damage hit. technically the torp would go off and detonate or die somewhere else, but for ease, torps hit, doing no damage and disappear.
the smartbomb issue is one that should be dealt with, but then again at the same time, defenders should be made useful rather than their laughable existance currently.

Not to mention that annoying bug with all missiles, in that when you engage warp any missiles in flight while your aligning (after clicking the warp button) do 0 damage while guns still hit.

After flying a phoenix for the first time a day ago my initial impression was that geez how cool is this... that is untill i saw the revilation next to me looking so cool. besides that i think that the speed of the torp should have a bit of a speed buff but but that is all if you could make the torps come out the front of the phonex sort of like how torps and cruse come out the frount of the raven.

It seems that people are not getting the message here. Suggestions on how to balance and improve the game should be put in Features and Ideas discussion forum, not here.
The only time you discuss balance here is if there are changes currently deployed on the test server, or recent changes deployed to Tranquility. That, and of course bugs.
