Just read this "optic blog" thing on the EVE-China website, says something about videotutorials..
Why haven't CCP thought of this before, it's brilliant!
Seems like a really good way to introduce people to the game, especially if the videos are wellmade, maybe even with some storybits/immersion..

about a year and a half ago there was a sticky where wrangler asked for what ccp should make into video tutorials.
But they decided it was a waste of resources? or something like that. Don't understand why video would be great for new players.
EDIT:it's interesting how they have dev blogs and operation blogs.

Lol, I just tried that game, it's hilarious, lots of cool eyecandy tho..
I especially like how it doesn't fit a tank, just turrets and how you get oneshotted by everything from BCs to Frigates :D
Btw, EVE-China also has a dedicated portal/site for EVE-Videos.
Aswell as some sort of community tool/portal site for Corporations/alliances..

I reckon the Chinese govt. is haxxing either EVE China's website or my PC, because it takes ages for the loading cursor to go away. 
I'm not used to dl speeds under 100kb/s either. China nedz moar intahn3ts
EDIT: I'm downloading the WIS presentation, it's some 289.0MB and even on a 10MB connection Opera says it's chugging at 60kb/s  so I'll let you know if I ever get it downloaded . . . |

The video is probably a recording of the WiS presentation Eris gave to the Chinese player gathering during the ChinaJoy game expo back in July. And no, EVE Online is not DX10 in China. That was a misprint on Optic's part. We still have a ton of posters from them that say DX10 too...the graphics cell seem to find them incredibly funny.
