In keeping with the theme of these forums recently, I would like to propose these changes to the Missions and Minning systems.
Missions All level 1 agents are in 0.8 space with the missions in 0.7 space, at least 1 jump away All level 2 agents are in 0.6 space with the missions in 0.5 space, at least 2 jumps away All level 3 agents are in 0.4 space with the missions in 0.3 space, at least 3 jumps away All level 4 agents are in 0.2 space with the missions in 0.1 space, at least 4 jumps away and must go thru at least 1 pipe system All level 5 agents and the missions are in 0.0 space, with at least 5 jumps distance between and must go thru at least 2 pipe systems.
All bounties are paid at end of mission, if you are able to complete in original ship used to destroy Rats, else the bounties go to the parties who destroyed you, unless you are destroyed by missions Rats, in which case Concord put a bounty on you eqaul to 75% of mission take, including all possible bounties, loot, and salvage along with the significant Sec standing loss.
All loot and salvage spawns in a loot can in a different system at a distance equal to the level of mission, IE 3rd level mission loot spawns randonly 3 jumps away which you must probe out.
Any mission not completed will result in severe standing loss and fine equal to 75% of the estimated mission take including all possible bounties, loot, and salvage, possibly resulting in negative wallet balance, added to any previous fine for not completing mission.
Minning All ore mined does not appear in your ship but spawns in a jet can at a distance directly related to the sec status of the system it was minned in and must be picked up by a gang mate while you are still minning.
If you stop minning to go pick up ore, or if you are destroyed, all the spawned ore is destroyed.
Ore minned in a 0.8 sys appears 8 jumps away. Ore minned in a 0.5 sys appears 5 jumps away. Ore minned in a 0.1 sys appears 1 jump away.
I believe these changes will add dramatically to game balance and allow us all to compete equally without prejudice to CareBear or Pvper alike since we all know we are exclusively only one or the other.

Pretty bizarre, especially the ideas for 'minning.'

i was going to offer share this rum with you, but i think you have had enough already. - PvPers always say "GB2WoW". the message is that EVE is hard, and people just need to deal with it. wasn't it funny how when nano's started making it hard for *them*, that all went out the window? |

Ok... first off. I can ~almost~ understand the mission distance thing. It means you get an assignment for a nearby system, and have to travel back and forth to complete it. BUT... agents (at least as I can tell) are just a guy who sits in the back corner of the bar. He hears things, and people talk to him occasionally. He hears of pirate raids, or damsels being kidnapped AGAIN... and when you happen through, he tells you about it. So why is he always telling you about stuff that's happening several systems over? Shouldn't he be more clued in about his own neighborhood?
Now for your "minning"... WTF!?!?
How in the hell does the ore I extracting from a rock 2m in front of me... mystically teleport 5 systems away?
NO MORE CRACK, CRACK BABY!
--- Don't take my ranting personally. I may just be arguing the topic, unless you're saying something stupid, and then I mean every word. "Players don't want Variety. They want THE BEST" |

I might add: All loot from 0.0 ratting will spawn in Jita (has to be probed out, of course). All bounty payments of ratting in BoB space will go to Goons, vice versa. All ammo, ships, modules built in empire will randomly spawn on the market in a 0.0 outpost at a random price. Income from the sale is spread evenly among all players docked at that outpost at the moment of sale. Whenever a char finishes training skill, a randomly picked character in the neighbouring region will get it. Whenever a corp anchors a new tower, it will warp to a random planet at least 4 regions away. Whenever a cap ship initiates a cyno jump, the destination will be random.

why? most people doing level three missions haave not been playing the game for too long. they get their first BC not many level 5 skills t1 fitted ship.... well he would not last too long. not everyone is in to pvp as much as you are. if ypou really want to kill noobs so bad drop a can called "free stuff" outside a starting station.

its that missions only need to be "changed" because fluffy carebears make more money that pies. Since when should crime be rewarded? If you choose to be a pirate, then you must accept the consequences.
Its like if I worked at burger king and thought that everyone making more money than me should have to swim thru shark infested waters to get to their corporate office so that it would be fair (whine sniffle sniffle)

In addition...
... Dude, I couldn't come up with anything else that wouldn't be way too crazy. You are the King!
The situation is this game has gotten pretty bad, and to even think the outlandish things that I purposed would ever be considered as true purposals, only goes to show how bad some of them have become.
It's not a knock against anyone who believed it, it just that it has gotten to the point where many of us would.
Pretty sad.
