Let us set our own custom resolution for windowed mode.
I don't know what happened but around Empyrean age launch I was cut down to 2 resolutions, that I somehow managed to get the one I use for windowed mode (1600x900 give or take) when I updated my nvidia drivers.
I had to recently format my computer, and put the nvidia drivers back on, and I am still unable to get anything other than 1680x1050 for windowed mode.
I don't understand why we can't custom set our resolutions for windowed mode, it just doesn't make sense, after all it is a window... I know the content scales to resolutions already it can't be hard to capture a window WM_SIZE command.... --------------------- Creator of another Mining Calculator |

pretty sure you can set your own res in the prefs file.

you sure? If this is true then it would be a very simple fix to just adjust the in game interface to allow a custom resolution without modifying config files by hand. --------------------- Creator of another Mining Calculator |

Maybe not quite as interface heavy as Eve, but it has its fair share of toolbars and windows and got away with it.

Is the overall goal to have certain sized icons, or to make the "windowed" mode fill the screen?
Last I looked (being at work ATM), there were plenty of resolution options in the ESC menu.
And as for filling the window and getting rid of the frame... there's lots of requests for that.
I personally got around it by downloading a program called "Start Eve".

the goal is to make the windowed mode a reasonable size without the edges going past my desktop size.
Unfortunately things like the windows bar reduces height of the screen and this is causing things to appear off windows grid.. also I would like a bit less wide so that I have room to move the window around.
that way I can dual box and look at some info on a website as needed.

If you run the game through "Start Eve", then you can Alt+tab between windows effortlessly. It makes the window appear to be fullscreen, but it doesn't make my graphics card cry like true "Fullscreen" alt+tabbing usually does.
