I hope these new allies are Stain Empire. Because they are getting their stuff pushed in right now. They seemed to be doing pretty well until you guys showed up. Failure follows wherever Atlas goes.
As Stain Empire loses their last station in conquerable space and retreats fully to NPC space, the best part will be watching to see what happens first. Atlas bailing on a friend when things get tough, or Stain Empire turning on Atlas and popping what is left of your cap fleet for the LOL's.

Edited by: Orange Faeces on 28/07/2008 23:20:35 I'd personally like to congratulate dastommy on losing his alliance (and all his allies) their space. His strategic blunders got your sov podded, forcing you to move to wherever.
And did he sulk in a mining barge in empire for a while? Oh no, folks. He's here! Posting in CAOD! Still trashtalking. Still self-promoting. Still spreading bull.

Here's my view
Chaos come to drone lands, we help kill frege with smashkill and we take 9IZ for our own (we later take over NGM two jumps away). Atlas move for B-7, with help from the usual bunch. Oxide cave in and hand the station over.
Chaos, RK, Smash and Atlas then moved on to roaming around IRC, ED and Ka tet space. All three alliance always use to put up a great fight. DMC then decide they want to take Ka TeTs space. Chaos&Atlas go to help but Ka tet run to RA. SO RA come rolling in and just DD the lot of us. Then RA permit Ka TeT to move on DMC. DMC leaves drone lands. At around the same time (Ka tet are in a bloody mess at this time)Atlas go and nick a DMC station from right under Ka TeTs small carebear snouts.
Both Atlas and Chaos then proceed to grief the fk outa ka tet. We did a fair amount of damage (Main PvP corps left, killed a good amount of their caps including two MoMs, lost rare moons). We never made a move for ED/IRC space as we all knew they had close ties with Goonies and the Russians.
Then one day RA turn up (mostly SDGs) with United legion and XXXxXXxxxxXXXdeath and try to kick Chaos outa 9IZ and NGM. RA say they had nothing to do with this anymore and kicked SDGs. SDGs then start beat on us along with Death/UL and random roaming gangs from IRC and Ka TeT (lol ka tet). OK NGM and 9IZ were never the easiest places for our allies to provide backup and with well planned titan hotdrops the russians do a good job at keeping RK/Smash/Atlas away. So chaos lost both stations and leave drone lands.
Smashkill then moves on Carpe Universitas (Ex Ka TeT and other crap) to secure space for our new friends FIX. So as usual Capre call for help and IRC XxXdeath and so on come to help but in the we managed to secure the three stations for fix.
SDGs and buddies then move to try and secure the space FIX have just claimed. Smashkill fight them off (included the biggest cap battle in the history of eve).
We go back to roaming and greifing and other fun stuff. RK and Smash focused alot of their PvP on ED and IRC but it was starting to get stale. So we had the the idea of hitting the R-6 cyno jammer and maybe putting a pos up for shits and giggles. Well it turned into something bigger and we moved for R-6 along with the other ED Stations in the const. We spanked IRC and ED a few times and red towers started to drop/reinforced. IRC & ED then called for SDGs, xxxdeath, Goons and other random friends to help out and they did.
So Smashkill killed a goonie titan and withdrew and went back to Geminate and Drone Lands. After that Goons and TCF moved into Gem. Smash failure cascaded and lost all their space in drone lands. Atlas were now cut off from the coalition, like being on a desert island in shark infested water (russian sharks that is ) So Atlas decided to retreat to Gem and help RK & Smash defend what was left. Xxxxxdeath/SDGs/IRC/ED then moved for FIX space again then moved onto empty Atlas and RK stations. After that SDGs and xxxxdeath moved for Ka TeTs stations which was pretty LOL. Blues are not always your friends, MK?
Alas Smashkill lost Gem and after a period of small scale PvP against goon renters they moved to pastures new.
At the end of the day i have a ton of respect for XxXdeath and Solar. Both great PVP alliances. IRC always put up a good fight and were always entertaining. ED are pretty poor. Hanging onto IRC/SDGs/XxXDeath/Goons hand and following them, hoping mummy wont smack their arse. Ka TeT were a horrible alliance and never deserved to hold that amount of space.
Drone lands is littered with nothing but a blues now. Full of SDG/XXXXxxxDeath Renters with the odd few big alliance like IRC, Mostly Harmless, Bit of Pure and ED. it's a shame really.
Sorry for the big type up but i think it's a pretty fair sum up of the last year of my drone land experience...And they said the drone regions were borning.....
Well they are now

Seriously that was fun times. Just the 2 of us greifing the living shit out of an alliance twice our size. When i look back at eve after i retiered, my greatest memories will be chaos and atlas pilots griefing the **** out of an alliance twice our size. That faction tower steal in their sov4 system where we killed that thanatos.... you cant make that sh*t up

I'm not sure how a thread about what's currently going on in the drone regions got stuffed into the Way-Back Machine and came out as a re-hash of the last war that took place there, but that's long over. The only significant change since then was the collapse and removal of Ka-Tet some weeks ago.
Now, the region is calm from a sov war point of view. Goonswarm, SOLAR Fleet, ICED, and xXDeathXx have consolidated the territories won from Smashkill. The current drone region residents exchange roaming gangs and the occasional blob with Pure and some of the lowsec residents now and again, but no systems change hands. For the most part, it's gf's and refreshingly little smack in local.

Edited by: Jack Gilligan on 29/07/2008 03:11:39 As a participant in the SmashFixKill wars... I most definitely enjoyed it. That epitomized what I want to do in this game... From the agony of the R6 invasion, to the thrill of obliterating the enemy...
Smash was the only smack talker really... They deserved their fate. I actually felt sorry for Roadkill and Fix... Both brought it... And rarely smacked. Same for Atlas. And I will always remember Bobby as my first... and second cap kill :)
Actually it sort of sucked that you guys got removed, since the drone regions became a lot less fun without the threat. The R-6 battles will always be my favorite time in EVE, since the outcome was most definitely in doubt, I was in a 100+ man fleet that died on the gate, and lost 5 BS's during it... Yet, we won. A definite example of how to NOT base your attitude towards any single fight and towards the campaign.

Stain has no caps. You are right of course. Obviously Atlas is the better alliance. Its not like Stain are one of the oldest and richest alliances in the game who seem to enjoy and excel at capital ship warfare more than anything else. Atlas and Roadkill both have shown their prowess against top tier alliances and would obviously curb stomp them.
With intellectuals like you leading the charge for Roadkill, I am still perplexed how you, along with Atlas and Smash were totally decimated and evicted from a huge amount of space in record time.
The only thing that Atlas does better than "bringing it" and looking for "good fights", is bailing on allies at the first hint of trouble. The fun thing with Stain Empire, is they may just decide to start using you for target practice before you have the opportunity to bail on them.

Leave SE alone, they are awesome. And its not our caps they want... ITS YOURS We sure bailed on Chaos Incarnate when pure attacked their new outpost in m-3. We sure bailed on Chaos Incarnate when it was raining men in 9-iz. We sure bailed anytime RK or Smash wanted to do anything. I expect that getting rich and the opportunity to shoot reds every day will make us bail out of stain... RIIIIIGGGHHHTTTT....
