Well, my cruise missiles were hitting some cargo containers at 8km, so I guess so.
Just need an agility change to prevent them from smacking up frigates now, unless that's already been implemented.

So there is nothing now stopping a Cruise missle hitting a frigate or have their agility been changed ?

They will be tweaking the Agility on missles I believe to take care of the Frigate issue.

Eh? It means that the armingtime has been removed. The other changes are still in effect as far as I have understood it all. Only the armingtime will be (and has been) removed. Don't count on cruisemissiles hitting frigates as their agility will be greatly reduced at shorter ranges (according to CCP's plans atleast). So we can all pray to the god of balance and hope for the best.

imho i stil think there needs to be a arming time on torps and cruise missles
but not in seconds but indistance and a skill/mod that lets you lower it.
or torps/cruise missles fired at a ship that is close to you has a 50/50 chance to hit you.
the whole point in haveing missles with arming devises is so that they don't hit the ship fireing them when fire at a close ranged target. so i think a 20km base arming range on torps adn cruises is fair. but a skill that does a -10%/lvl will also be needed that means that they can have a arming range of 10km witch is not bad. adn a option to turn off the arming but when fired at a target close to you adn orbiting you will have a 50/50 chance at hittign yourself. also ithink that frigs shoudl have to option when they have a lot of missles chaseign them to lead the missles to a larger target say a bs and if they pass by the target at 200 or less meters then then missles with smack into that bs/cruiser.
this will make it more equal in the damage missiles deal out with turents. turrents unlike missles don't do the different damage from different ranges. it shoudl be that if you want to hit a clsoe target you need to use heavy or light missles in a raven or blasters/autocannons. torps/cruise shouldn't be able to hit anythign at close ranges or they should do 50/50 damage to the ship fireign them becaseu it is teh risk the pilot would have to take.
well that is my opinion

when I was in all missils went 3000 m/s I asked myself why them all? Light should be the fastest maybe the 3000 m/s - but a cruise missil going 3000 m/s wow thats a frig killa! I say keep it at 1600 m/s and 2200 for hvyz. a fast frig would still have to watch out well my two cents... Og and BTW dont take the heavy missils away from frigs!!!! What the **** are u tinking and now that all these new changes is on chaos - yes i tried them - the freedom from battle is being taken away... it more automatet I dont want a game like SWG.. bah.. /emote pukes! Now its great pvp on tranquility - home of the stars. But why change it where is the actual problem?
