Ah, stupid me, didn't see that 'total' column. But could you make it so that I can sort the list by 'total', instead of by 'type', in a future update? Would make it a bit easier to see what items gives me the biggest profit :)

Been working well so far for personal data, but when trying to get corp data I get an error "Type Mismatch" and the EWA closes. I didn't see it on your known issues list.

Make sure you are using the most recent version, both of the program and the database.
If that's the case and the error still persits, please contact me out of game. See http://eve.basicaware.de/evewalletaware/index.html#contact for contact details. I might want you to change some settings (logging) and sent me the resulting log files. EWA should never just close itself. -- EVEWalletAware - an offline wallet manager |

Unfortunately, that's the way CCP has designed the API. You can't retrieve more data (transacations/journals).

Hi Hel O'Ween,
first a realy nice Prog. Use it for my Corp finances. Gives me most of the Infos I need. But some Infos I don¦t get. Here¦s my Problem.
Two lists (Wallet journal and Balance Sheet by Wallet journal) let me see not one transaction for Personal and Corporation. Only the column name. All other lists display all transactions i have ingame too. I looked in the cached XML files option and i have it all there (7 Wallet journal (Corp) and 1 Wallet journal (personal)). Tryed a Databse cleanup.. nothing changes. Try different Date from and Date to options... nothing changes. Apllied filters und resets filters.... nothing changes. Checked the Application log... only InfoMsg and XMLErrors (101)
I don¦t know what¦s going wrong there. Maybe you can help me?

Possible to export personal transactions to a CSV file or something ?
Would be a nice tool for traders so after they have bought in alot of stuff and need to go somewhere to sell it, they can just export it all and then do their calculations in excel

Ok i think I found the Problem why not displaying the journal Lists. Under Extras I update the complete game Data (Extras -> Update Game Data -> All of the above) and now it show me all. Perfect now the Program gives me all Infos I need for my Corp.
But I found a new Bug/Failure. When I doubleclick on a columheader it gives me an errormessage and the Prog close. But it¦s a Problem where I can live with.

Try File-> Save grid to file (or CTRL+S) while you have your transactions, journal, statistics etc. open. |

Glad you found that yourself.
That means that you do all of your business in outposts. Unlike NPC stations, these are not part of the static data dump provided by CCP (and included in the initial install of EWA), but have to be retrieved from the EVE API. (Logical move, as new outposts pop up every time). As you have experienced yourself, although EWA doesn't display any data if an outpost is missing, but does not dismiss/delete the information retrieved and therfore is capable of showing it, once all necessary data is available.
While I added the option "Update all above" for your (and my) convenience, the outpost data is the only important one to be updated from time to time.

Could you please tell me where that happened? (Wallet transactions? Wallet journal? ...). This should be fairly easy to fix, once I know which windows are affected. |

Yes I think was something with the missing Journal transaction description or Corporation member list.
The Problem is realy easy to reproduce for me. All Lists with grey headers have the problem. Go on one and make a doubleclick on one of the header. Eg open the Wallet Transaction (equal if Personal or Corporation) and doubleclick on one of the header (Quantity, Vendor.. goes with all). It gives me an errormessage "Run-time error 13 Type mismatch". Try it yourself not sure it it is only on my computer or on all.

I've just uploaded a new version (1.2.2), which fixes that bug. As always, see Version Information for details. |

I see that you have added a 'sort by' feature under the Balance sheet -> by wallet transactions window. But I can't get it working, it always sorts by name whatever option I choose.

That shouldn't have made it into this release. I was experimenting how to approach that sorting thing and forgot to remove my test controls before uploading this version ... |

OK, just to tease you a bit ...
The good news: I got it working.
The bad news: But don't expect a new release before the weekend/start of next week. I will go through the other options and have a look where I can throw in that sorting mechanism, too. It will not work for all options, due to <insert techno bubble about the grid's data handling mechanisms here >. And a bit of testing of my own also never hurts. |

The buy orders window never seems to update for me. I can put out a buy order for lets say 50 of some item and get 20 of them right away. But when I pop open walletaware and update the buy orders do not seem to change for qty.

You are perhaps looking at the wrong column/with the wrong filter settings.
The Market Order windows are organized in such a way, that they per default show all your orders - expired and active ones (and all other states, too, although I have yet to encounter for example a "Pending" or "Closed" order).
Try setting the "Order state" filter to "Active" or "Expired/Fulfilled" and see if that makes a difference.
Also, note the two columns named "Vol remain.(ing)" and "Volume". The later is the the original amount you put in your order. The former is the volume remaining for that order, if the order has been partially fulfilled. -- EVEWalletAware - an offline wallet manager |

Cool, thanks. Much appreciated.
But wait, there's more. I've just uploaded another version (1.2.4).
Estrixx, this one can be configured to minimize to the system tray (needs a restart of EWA to become active).
I also added the ability to collapse/expand the rows in the wallet transaction and wallet journal window.
Both of these new features can be configered in the options screen (Extras -> Options), where I added a new tab "Appearance". A few settings previously located under "Wallet" have been moved there, too (make more sense there, as they also deal with UI settings).
Have fun, folks. -- EVEWalletAware - an offline wallet manager |

yeah I am using the filter option for active and the Qty for my orders just seem to be stuck with old values.

OK, Houston, we have a problem ...
Yesterday evening I had another user reporting the same issue. I also noticed inconsistencies for my market orders (which is good, as now I can see what's going on), too.
I have the strange feeling that the Market Order API might have a problem. For example, ingame I have two buy orders for an identical item. But EWA shows them as sell orders for me. Investigating the XML I received from the API, these orders are flagged as a sell order (column bid=0) there, too.
I'll file a bug report with CCP. -- EVEWalletAware - an offline wallet manager |
