I just wondering is CCP going to sort this problem out.
What I mean is when I have my main move to 0.0 and drop the stuff off and put them up for sale. A day later I need to change the price as i competing against another trader. Tho I have to fly all the way back to change it.
Even tho I put it up for sale for the corp why cant my alt or other member thats at the same station change it for me when its under corp sales?
Just wondering are they going to change this so anyone with the role can change the order for the corp not just that one person?

I'm sure that when you grow up a bit more you will figure it out as it is perfect the way it is now.
Meanwhile use a static alt to put up orders in remote locations.

thanks for the unless reply ok here what I dont get if its perfect then why this then.
Person a puts up order for corp in jita Alt trained and moved to system and wants to change order but cant Person A fly back and changes it
or a corp member wants to change the order but cant because person A can only do it.
If its up for sale for the corp why no member cant change it but the only person who up the order up in the first place? Even tho its on sale for the corp?
so unless you have a answer please post or don't bother and try and be a smart ass over it. just a simple Question

I'm talking about the fact that just minutes ago you changed the thread's name to "Close this thread" and you erased the original message and replies. I've seen that!

Shouldn't he have changed the topic to: "CCP can you make it easier for people in my corp to steal from me?"

Maybe it could be controlled via roles? If you have corp pos, corp manufacturing etc, it doesn't seem that strange to allow 2 high ranked members handle market transactions on behalf of the corp.

Funny, Shar and I were just talking about this the other night.
Conjecture is that CCP does not allow alts to change orders as every time a change is made the order can be reset to 90 days... even on accounts that have lapsed.
Also as was mentioned earlier, the alt could devalue your order essentially ripping you off, heck they could buy your devalued order, taking your items for a steal, literally...

So what happened to dear old Shar? I don't see him post anymore. Did he get a 7 days ban or something?

If the other character has wallet access already surely they could do far more damage. Frankly, I agree with the OP. I always thought it strange that I couldn't modify a corpmates orders and he couldn't modify mine. It kinda screws the social aspect of you working with a corp in production.
If someone can cancel my research jobs at a POS lab, if they can steal all the isk from my wallets, if they can unanchor and fly away with my POS, why can't I somehow allow the sharing of corp orders. Income goes to the same place. The same risk should be just as clear as when allowing wallet access.
I hate how right now CCP is catering the game towards alts rather than team play. Just about every industrial aspect of the game is flawed for multi-person corporations.

I think that this limitation exists because of they way that corporation sales are implemented. You are selling XYZ on behalf of the corporation. You are the corporation's agent in the transaction. Hence, only you the agent can make changes to the order since it's your order. It just so happens that you are doing it for the corporation. I agree that you should be able to let a corp mate cancel/modify (with the right roles) however, I think that this probably didn't happen because the method of implementing corporate sales prevented its existence.
