Hey hey there, I've been playing awhile now and just started an alt account. My main is doing well and has plenty of ISK and such...but my question is this: What is the best set-up for a new toon w/ unlimited funds? He's a full scale miner and already has a full set of implants. He is on the way to T2 learning and I just wanted to make sure im not missing anything that could be of help. My first toon was really halfass, of course...im just wanting to do it right this time!

No offense, but that's a rather dumb question.
Everybody likes doing different things in this game. You can't just ask us what you should do without telling us your interests first. I might tell you to try trading, someone else might tell you to be a pirate, while someone else might tell you to run missions.
Tell us what exactly you're interested in... then we can give you more detailed suggestions.

Ok, I get ya. But what exactly are you asking:) We can't really tell you what you're missing if you don't tell us what exactly you have:)

If you have the ISK, the only thing you can do is try to throw ISK at the skill training process and speed it up with implants, basically. You've already done that. Not much else to do other than sit back and train the skills you want your alt to have.
If you want your alt to have faction standings or stuff like that... obviously the earlier you start the faster you can get the standings you want.

The only thing you need to do really, is fit him with the best implants you can afford and train learning skills up as high as you care to. Seems like you're already doing that, so you should be fine. As he's an alt, you shouldn't get too bored watching those learning skills slowly trudge by :) |

I don't get it... why are you asking for help on the "set-up" if you already created the character ? As for skill planning, once you already have the char, EVE-Mon is best - just add all the possible skills you might want, manually plug in what implants you plan to have in, and let it suggest the appropriate learning levels (and no, "maxing them all out" is NOT the correct answer).
