Yeah it's about as fake as the loss I just posted.
Fact is, we have balls to attack and you guys would have sat there all day. And you can't say anything about it because this is not a game of WHAT IF this is a game of WHAT IS.
See you all next time.

Ouch - I've lost a navy vex before and it sucks :( I'd recommend nano'ing the navy vex however. Get a thorax for up close in your face action; it costs about 85m less than a navy vex.

We sat there on the gate, did the Caldary jump from the safety of high sec? Nope
We spit our force, did the Caldary jump from high sec? Not a chance
We went left the system, did the Caldary jump? You bet
When the Caldary blob was on the other side of the gate, did we jump? Of Course....
And was it the Caldary that killed most of the ships? Nope, it was the lag.

Or for another point of view:
Caldari had the good sense not to start a battle until they were in a position to win it. From the OP's description - the Gallente kicked off a blob fight. The Caldari didn't fall for it. When the fight finally happened it was on the Caldari's terms and they won.

Sounds to me like the Caldari played their usual cautious way. And the Gallente their usual flamboyant way.
In terms of ISK I am sure the Caldari are ahead. But I tip my hat to the Gallente fleet for having the balls to jump in without at least a 2-1 advantage.
And so I know which fleet I would rather have be part of.

Get your facts straight... Gallente has never jumped into a fight without larger numbers. They have spies that enable them to run away more effectively, not to jump in and die.

I have only been in one Blob against the Caldari, it happened in OMS on the 21st. We (Gallente) had a 50ish ship fleet that jumped into Ol Man Star and engaged a 80ish enemy size fleet. The destruction of the enemy fleet was total and complete... while we lost 15 or so ships. So please say never! ___

If only. I've lost track of the times we've chased gallente fleets all the way back to OMS and then watched them jump into Villore and hide there.
Fortunately even in hi sec they are not beyond the wrath of our suicide kestrel and caracl gangs!!

Try again. Just yesterday, a gallente fleet jumped into numberically superior caldari force in Old Man Star who had drones out. Results can be found here. In fact, the only people that ran were the caldari who booked it to the station or those who tried to run back to Tama.
And its called Cloaking Recons for intel. You should try it.

@gut, which is probably why we are asked by the gallente FCs to put as many alts as possible in caldari militia...

Look at the summary for the number of cloakers. We were in a direct convo with the FC from the buildup to the end of the fight. Spys work. But the intel is slow unless the spy is moving with the fleet. There isn't a substitute for just looking at the situtation.

In fact, it's so hard to get the gallente to stand and fight, caldari is reduced to launching raids in gallente hi sec.
http://oldforums.eveonline.com/?a=topic&threadID=801043
Ok, re: the spies thing. I'm sure there are hundreds of alt spies in the caldari militia. Just like there's always 4 or 5 neutrals in ibises/shuttles following the caldari fleet around that everyone is always wanting to pop. None of that really matters - you're an 80 man fleet, you're not hard to keep track of, and I guarantee that, just like we have guys cloaked watching the gallente, they have guys cloaked watching us. So all the spy accounts in the caldari militia are rather superfluous, and have no real effect other than inflating the # of caldari militia pilots and providing hilariously bad fitting advice to the newbs.

Half truths tbh. Once we got word you guys had flanked us by moving through Lad it was 2 late, we warped to the gate as you guys we already jumping into OMS. Once we got there we dropped drones ofcourse but most of us were so lagged we couldnt see anyone on the overview. In fact my Scorp went down by the Lag Phantoms without ever having a single War Target pop up on my overview. Now once the call was made to retreat to the station to regroup since a large part of the fleet was having major lag issues things changed since we could actually see you guys on the overview ect. And lol at posting links to your killboards, I have like 20 kills there try adding a 0 to the end and your starting to get close. Both killboards are not actuarate on k/d ratio since lots of noobs think it didnt happen if they dont post. So all in all that fight went down like many have lately, CCP lag kills either us or you.
