Problem Screen Shot
Now It appears to me that I have satisfied the Standings requirement to Join, See the 0.50 listed. And it is saying that I need to have atleast a Standing of 0.5 join. Looks like I have it. So whats going on?

You have 0.499 in standing.

probably a rounding issue (ie, you have 0.499 and its being rounded up to 0.5)
so another few missions and it should get sorted.

Rounding. You have something like 0.49941978569817236 and that's rounded to 0.50 for display. But the comparison of 0.499 and 0.5 fails.

Maybe you should make it always Round down, Or not Round then.

So you would floor it. Actually they used to do that with system sec ratings, it became quite a mess when they shifted to rounding instead.

True enough. If I had a better negative rating due to rounding and then got ganked by Concord in highsec going where my "supposed" rating should have allowed me, I would be quite upset with CCP.
