I was doing Guristas Watch, when after finishing it, it escalated into "Terrorist Plot!" , it was a site, with a faction frig at the first gate , some battle-cruisers (160-ish K bounty) and some tougher type frigs, then after jumping through first acceleration gate, i've encountered a singe container named "Viral Stash" in it, as soon as i approached it at like 1000 m, a trap was set off, doing over 800 points in damage, then a message like this showed up on local:
Message > Someone has approached the Viral Stash too closely, triggering an explosion from a hidden trap nearby!
then the following message was:
Message > In this container you find stacks of barrels containing viral agent, as well as a list of ship ID's, barrel ID's and times. Most of the times have passed, but the very last one is only a couple of minutes from now, perhaps if you intercept this ship that is supposedly arriving, you may find out more.
i've looted the container and it contained 5 units of "Viral Agent" and 44 units of "Data Sheets", i've placed the items into my cargohold.
then after some time, a ship named "Guristas Relay Officer" showed up, and stated:
Guristas Relay Officer: Who are you!? I wasn't told of anyone guarding our Viral Stash. If you don't give me identification codes immediately, I'll have to assume you're a looter.
Well... I sort of done this "shoot first ask questions later" kind of thing, and unleashed all the fury my drake had upon the naive officer! And this is where it get's not funny. Cause, the pop-up window appeared after destroying it, announcing that it's a dead-end, and that "a direct hit to the hull destroyed potential data..." or something like that. The ship wreck was empty as well, so i figured that I /phailed at some point. Should I just wait until some thing happens after the ship approaches?
So to sum up, if anyone has experience with this sort of encounter, please share it :) What was that I did wrong? What needs to be done in order to go through this the right way ? :) Or does it every time end like this?
Regards, Last Flower
