Does anyone know if and when next tier module will be released (T3) ? I need my EVE fix. Who would ever know EVE could be so addictive! |

what would T3 do? Why would it be any different then T2? it would just be T2. Anyways if you're looking for better then T2 look at faction modules. Faction modules cost a small forture though. _______________

I know the devs have talked about t3 mods but even in the talks they only want to make t3 better with heat and thats it, so even if they put them in the mods won't be uber. GO RED WINGS!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Edited by: Fist1 on 07/06/2008 02:47:20 offhand I would think T3 would unbalance the faction modules. that or faction would have to have a boost, and then only people with T3/faction gear can beat someone using T3/faction gear. would make T1 unusable I would think. also, I cannot imagine how frustration there would be to invent T3 gear from T2 blueprints.

Yea, i was thinking in the same general direction. The reason i actually posted the question to begin with is beacuse of several rumors that has been floating around and i thought it might be a good idea to c how EVE players in general was thinking and what they've heard. Personally i can c the problems a T3 series of modules could bring, but as the game progresses and balance is being implemented i can also c a possible reason for it. In regards to faction items being underpowered if a T3 series is released i think not, any faction would obviously implement there own T3 variants and as such the faction items would be scaled appropriately. To combat the extreme value increase of already existing faction modules on the market might be hard, but i suppose making faction gear harder to obtain or given more flavour (Give the faction gear different qualitys like implants for an example) could instead help diversify the ship setups and bring in some needed "low budget" items. The fact that T1 items would become rather obsolete with a T3 set i will not disagree, but as for now they already are to a large extent. I need my EVE fix. Who would ever know EVE could be so addictive! |

I thought the devs said T3 mods would be a little worse stat wise then T2, but could be overheated for far longer periods of time.
