Originally by: Tiberius Raeder I believe capital ships of the various major factions are not under the same restrictions as we capsuleers. But, regardless, a major crime has been committed against the State and the Caldari People. There is obviously a powerful element withing the Federation, or at least the Federation Navy, which harbours ill-will towards the State. Further attempts to negotiate with that festering heap of dung known as the Federation would be a waste of valuable time.
Let slip the dogs of war...

What will you make of those who live by our side for years and have grown into our State? What with those many brave and goodhearted pilots who today helped the victims of the attack? These days it is not easy to differentiate between friend and foe and I fear it may be even tougher in the coming days nad years.

Given the fact that station services are still available in spite of the massive damage and hundreds of thousands dead, it seems quite clear that Noir's intention was to kill as many people as possible rather than deal a decisive tactical blow - the more innocent the better, just like at Huermont and Novelle Rouvenor, I'm sure he rationalized it.
I am astounded that a man could hold on to his hate so tightly for so long. But perhaps I am more astounded that he believed this atrocity would somehow balance the scales of cosmic justice. There will be blood for this. Oh yes, there will be blood.

It is quite disturbing to see the amount of masochistic, socially expedient federation citizens here. After all the history of Gallente/Caldari conflict, you give in to the calls to bow down to the Caldari? To be as inoffensive as possible and condemn your own in the blink of an eye? Such a pity that the federation has gone so soft.
The actions of my government regarding the ethnic strife were bad enough. They already had me sitting on a fence concerning this. There is no statement no words from the government in any way concerning this matter. It no longer matters. Thier unwillingness to speak writes volumes of history in the blink of an eye. Their lack of utter condemnation to this assault against the peace in this amount of time states exactly what they are. What every empire government is for that matter! Nothing but mindless savages! If you all want to blow yourselves to hell thats fine with us.
The people on the true frontier will feast off the remains and finally take their true places of power among the stars. Capsuleers have been given power that only gods can comprehend. It will be used should it be deemed necessary. The coming conflicts will drive an urge to attack space held not by any major faction. We who live out here will be ready and able to counter those strikes with nothing short of total obliteration!
I am federation by blood only i hold no ties to the Gallente. I hold no ties to the caldari. You think i am being inoffensive? Sorry but i dont exactly have a reason to like damn near anyone. The Caldari are far too in the pockets of corporations, the gallente are hypocritical bastards, the amaar never got out of the 18th century despite their technology based on what little we have of that time. The minmatar are like the little kids on the playground getting trounced by the school bully. I dont care if you ALL blow yourselves up. I am done with my buisness in the empires. If i am there its to kill someone. This is about as bad a situation as it gets and their silence only gives proof to the worst fears. If the Gallente can prove to me this was not an act backed by those idiots at the capital maybe just maybe i might change my position. But until then bite me.

I am disgusted by the fact that the Federation would betray our trust in such a manner - We gift them with the prospect of guarding our people, we allow them into our lands, and we finally, finally come close to a lasting peace...
...And that imbecile smashes his ship into the station, it's fires consuming Peace just as fast as flesh and bone.
This act was an unmasking - Finally, the Federation removes it's incompetent veil, and shows us that it is, and always will be rotten to the core.
After all these years, we finally turn our backs, trusting them to protect us... and they instead betray us at the culmination of all of our work.
All in the petty name of revenge.
There's going to be a lot more of that coming around.
'Blood will have blood,' it has been said.

Those who fail to learn history are doomed to repeat it; those who fail to learn history correctly-- why they are simply doomed. So now the crux of our age has been laid at our feet. Will we choose the olive branch or the sword? Few remember there is another path, one that had not yet been made. Will the dream of Gariushi die? Will the higher road he spoke of disappear? The corrupt elements in both our governments seem hell-bent on goading us to all out war. Even the innocents are not safe anymore. |

Of all the corporations to attack, why Ishukone? They were the closest that the Caldari State had to a sense of hope for the future.
Is there still nothing from the Gallente Federation about this atrocity? Fanatical terrorist, or Caldari setup? I don't want to believe that a member of the Gallente Federation would take this action, even after the atrocities at Nouvelle Rouvenor and Hueromont.

It does not suprise me that a federation member would attack like this, he was obviously planning this by telling people that he 'wanted peace talks' waiting for the perfect time to strike.
As for the people claiming ot to be a setup well the list of people who oculd pull this off is slim, not to mention the fact that the amount of people who can fly a nyx is slim.
and as of yet no word for there yellow belly leaders, if it was a setup surely they would have said.
I hope the proud caldari strike back at these vermin quick and fast, war is brewing/

It is obvious that this event was planned and executed by an outside force that sees both the Caldari and The Gallente as pawns in a bigger game.
Simple minded and narrow visioned people will point fingers in the direction were this hidden power has already planned.
The pre-written "message", the televised dramatic Nyx-to-station scenes, all of it to push an agenda.
Who could benefit from these nations going to war? Very sinister.

This act, whether that of a single madman or part of some plot is a terrible tragedy. Ishukone is my old corporation, it was they who bore me, and they who raised me. I jump cloned into the area within an hour of hearing the news. Docking at the still burning station was a difficult experience. Seeing the carnage wrought in this atrocity was far worse. For now I, and many here, are doing what they can to save those who can be saved. Ishukone is the best hope (in a megacorporation) for both the people in the State and for peace between the State and the Gallente. I only hope that the corporation can work through this.
I would like to add that if this was not the act of some lone madman; if this was part of some plot, a mere ploy in someone's games of power, and especially if the rumors about Mr Garushi's death are true...
Ishukone is the closest thing I have to a family. Someone just stabbed her in the neck.
I will commit my every resource, and the resources of anyone I can convince, to hunting down those responsible. I'm positive I won't be alone. --------------

My fellow Caldarians. It was only yesterday that I was calling on all Caldarians to show their patriotism in the face of Gallente acts of terror and vandalism against our fellow peoples on Caldari Prime. A call that some did not seem to want to hear.
Well it is with profound sadness that my view has now been vindicated by a cowardly act of terror the likes of which none of us have ever seen. And against probably the largest voice for calm and reason within Caldari.
War comes. Many will die. But many of us will crown ourselves in glory. The Gallente do not know what they have unleashed upon themselves.

Why is the whole Federation always blamed for the actions of the lone or the few? No one yet knows the truth about what happened, and I will not cast sides until I know it.
Oh, and I think a number of people will be angry with you for using the 'word' 'Caldarian'. Its actually Caldari, a fact I know from attending this summet and having a number of friends who are Caldari. You insult your own people as much as you do us. ****************************

Edited by: Cinnander on 16/05/2008 16:14:18 Of course you won't hear from the Federation, especially within 24 hours - the political head of the Federation is entirely dis-functional; I associate with/as Gallente and having lived there it's painfully obvious the government is way too big and worse of all, useless. Nice idea, poor execution. Anyway, to the point at hand: But it's about time someone acted, in my opinion, though I think pinning this on the Fed. so early would be a bit hyperbolic - it does smack of extremism, or at least extremist influences/meddling. I suppose the Caldari could count themselves cursed and blessed: It's a tragedy and innocents should not have been involved, but then again it could have been Jita IV - 4. For the sake of freedom, let's just hope this doesn't put the Corporate War Machine into paranoia mode.
Anyway, I was just there - it's quite messy. Could hear little scraps dinging against the outside of the ship, so I'm not sure I'd take the risk trying to dock. If you have an office anywhere near the top, you may want to consider relocating to a hangar - the fires don't seem to be abating.
(It is with a great sarcastic sneer that I say I think they took "Your ship will be towed into the station" rather too literally this time.) Caldari Blood - Gallente Heart. |

Maybe you should try attending a diplomatic summit flying a hauler full of bombs sometime, and see how far you get past security.
Besides, I'm fairly convinced that the Gallente Federation is not behind this, at least not officially. Admiral Noir may have been the spearhead of a rogue faction within the Federation, he may have been acting alone. One thing I do not believe, and probably never will believe, is that the Gallente Federation would endorse an attack of this kind.
This is ourNouvelle Rouvenor. What counts now is how maturely we respond. A hundred years ago, the Federation over-reacted, bombing our homeworld and our cities in a display of brutality and overkill that was entirely inappropriate to the crime.
War may be inevitable by now, but we can at least attempt to preserve our dignity, our maturity, and above, the moral high ground. We need to prove once again that we are better than them, and the best way to do that is stay our hand in the moment of victory. -
