Yea, no uploads so far from anyone of those 1000 guys using it every day I searched for other data sources, but there are no real ones like EC. Eve Metric was updated 3 days before I last checked it, so yea... not going to be up to date as it looks like :) Tho it's API is awesome. If there are not more than 10 uploads by tomorrow, I will get rid of this update strategy again, and will just do the ol' Jita-only updating in 6 hour cycles, since the manual price input is working now :)
Guess I wasted a week, ha :D Anywas, was fun and interesting developping an AIR app
Going to work on the following features now (in listed order): - Custom Formulas, with which you'll be able to access ore prices and mineral amounts to output exactly what you want to know. (e.g. the mineral price of a Drake) - Ore Amount and Mining Cycle calculators - Implementing Ore, Ice and Alloy pricetrends - Localisation to german, french, russian and dutch

I'm a Flash developper for a living, so yea :) That's how I got into AIR. AIR is nothing else than Flash (AS3) or Flex. Just download the demo of Flexbuilder and try around a bit, do tutorials etc etc.

A very useful program that can be used for markets anywhere in the Eve Universe with ease. Great on spreadsheets to calculate how much ore to harvest for manufacturing as well.

Great tool, i use it a lot, but as a solo miner most of the time i tend to target the +5, and +10% ore variants to get maximum isk/hour. The one thing that I see lacking from your table is a ability to get isk/volume values for these variants instead of simply the base ore. Thanks again for the table, Cerlestes.

The old page used to have that info if i'm not mistaken. Other than that i agree with Thingz ;)
Anyways I found an error in the alloy page. All prices seem to be off (or maybe it's just me being ultra tired? :P)
E.g. Condensed Alloy yields 88Trit @2,96 isk , 44 Pyer @7,55isk and 11 Iso@55,97 isk. according to your table that's 924 isk. my calculator says it's 1208,35
Same story for the other alloys and compounds. Am i missing something? The volume for alloys is 1 so that shouldn't have any affect. My first guess was that you've mixed up Mex (@30,58 isk) and Iso but that'd result in 929,06 isk total value and not 924. still slightly off.

wrong alt above :P
and i just realized that if you multiply that 929 isk *0.995 (your pre set refining yield settings) we get that 924 isk :)
So a) you mixed up some rows and b) are missing setting for refining yield on the alloy table :)
Besides that great work that whole page! :)

I'm certainly not going to download another browser that does exactly what IE does simply to use your spreadsheet.

Yes, I won't.

I didn't tell you to use it Also, there's no other browser doing the exact same as IE - no other browser is that ****ty
I will look into the Alloy sheet next week, got a lot to do lately.

You don't have to sign up... creating a profile just needs a name for it, nothing else ;) It's not like an account or something. Just a way to enable you to share your settings with corpmates or even only over multiple computers.

Thanks! I love this tool, great data and pretty, lightweight presentation.
I don't know if this has been mentioned already, but in the Alloy Table, when you sort by Price, it appears to be sorted lexically (1 < 10 < 13 < 2 < 70 < 8 ... ). You've gotten the numeric sort right everywhere else so it's probably just an oversight.
Thanks again for the site!

Yes, I noticed that before. I will try to fix that and the other bugs ASAP. Hope I can also finally implement the other things I planned :)

Edited by: Aine Lagerange on 23/03/2010 17:28:56 hi,
cool website!. One thing that is bugging me. You show lets say, the amount of oxygen of blue ice and thick blue ice.
For which one of the both amounts is the price? Could you please show both prices for the normal and the higher ice?
Cheers.

hmm, I think it would be a great idea for you to link to the tutorial somewhere on the page. I opened the link in a new tab, which didn't work, and now I seem to need to erase my "data" that is saved in the browser in order to get the same popup.
Also great if you want to check up on something.

It fails on Opera 10.51 as well. Same symptoms - it says that JS is disabled, and that I'm using IE. Whatever test you are using to determine JS being enabled and browser type seems to be very wrong. Please fix this - Opera is one of the most JS standard and W3C compliant browsers out there. |

That "JS is Disabled - You're using IE" site will basically be displayed when the JS can't be executed.
I tried it with Opera 10.51 and it works just fine as it should (because indeed, it's the best browser out there, in terms of compliance). I checked my Stats, and it showed me, that, yesterday, 91 people were using the Ore Table without problems, going online with Opera 9 to 10.51. Only 13 of the Opera users used the old non-JS version, the whole last month. (And 751 Internet Explorer users ) So it really must be a problem with your settings, I'm very sorry!
But I'm going to re-write that "No JS"-text today, so it fits better ;)
