110.04.29 : Isaziwa - Lai Dai Corporation Factory Station Koroe Tankyuusha, Infinity Systems Chief of Manufacturing and Research, presented the company's April financial report to various corporate media outlets, shareholders, and Lai Dai Corporate executives. The overall tone of the report was positive. The report (presented below) demonstrated the growth of Infinity Systems despite the general economic down turn across the State. There was some speculation amongst those present that more young subsidiaries and partner companies with nothing but room to grow might aid in dampening the slowing economy.
Tankyuusha thanked, the Lai Dai executives for their continued support of the company, despite the profit warnings early in the month. It had been proposed at the time that cutting support for Infinity Systems would allow Lai Dai to focus on its older subsidiaries and partner corporations. Today showed that the Lai Dai executives had the foresight to not cut support for the flegdling partner.
Following the presentation of the report, the media was allowed to ask questions. Most the questions related to the report. However two questions asked about the a rumor concerning the reassignment of Infinity System's current Chief of Security. Tankyuusha stated "LDIS had no comment at this time."

Edited by: Tahti Gaikoukan on 30/04/2008 06:47:36 LDIS April Financial Report
In April 110, Lai Dai Infinity Systems expanded its product line and invested heavily in researching several blueprints. LDIS saw continued direct investment by one of its major investors in the form of two cruiser blueprints. Two new employees joined LDIS in April along with the establishment of the Corporate Communications Mainframe. Lai Dai Infinity Systems continued to display growth throughout the month of April.
Throughout April, the product line was expanded. At the beginning of the month the product line was limited to Robotic Assistance Modules and the Badger Mark II class industrial ship. At the end of April the product line had expaned to include the Badger class industrial and the Caldari Shuttle class ship; Rocket Launcher I, Standard Missile Launcher I, Small Shield Extender I, and Expanded Cargohold I modules. This represents a 200% increase in the variety of products manufactured by LDIS. In addition to those products added to the line, additional products are being readied for sale.
In April, in addition to those products on the assembly line other product blueprints where sent to Yurai-Tenshin Zaibatsu for research. The research was on an hourly basis at 20,000 ISK/Hour. This research was completely promotely and YTZ was a valued business partner. The following blueprints were researched to have 1% wastage: Caracal class cruiser, Anti-EM Screen Reinforcer I, Core Defence Field Purger I, Sensor Booster I,and Invulnerability Field I. All these blueprints are ready for the manufacturing line, but not all the materials are available.
While the research contracts represent the corporations investment in its assets, one of the corporations major investors provide the corporation with two cruiser blueprints in April. Both the Caracal BPO mentioned earlier and a Blackbird BPO were provided to the corporation as further investments. This investment represents the majority of the corporations growth in the past month.
At the beginning of March the corporation was offering investors shares at a price of 250,000 ISK. Over the past two months this has risen to 327303.44 ISK per share. This represents a 30.9% increase in value of the corporation.
As state earlier a large part of the corporations value increase came from direct investment by a major investor in the form of Cruiser BPOs. A comparision of Investments to Gross Profit and Value of goods on the market shows an expected growth of 1,531,337.98 ISK, with 28.7 million isk being invested in April, a 5.3% growth. It should be noted that not all the investment has had the opportunity to make returns on itself, with some of the research having yet to be put into production. Given sufficient resources in May, great growth is predicted.
In April, two new employees joined LDIS one as a researcher, the other as a general employee. One employee's contract with their previous corporation was bought out at a cost of 4.5 million isk, on the condition that this be repaid to the corporation. This continued growth of the corporations employees should lead to greater profit margins for its shareholders (shareholders include corporate employees). Also one of the new employees brought with them skills nessecary for the establishment of a Corporate Communications Mainframe and future plans for a Corporate Galnet Portal.
While the corporation may not be providing significant dividends this month to investors, investors can be rest assured that the corporation is working hard to make a return on their investment and provide quality Caldari products to market at competative prices.

I can only answer for Lai Dai Infinity Systems at this time with any certainty. Infinity Systems has not been directly operating beyond the borders of the State. To date, Lai Dai Infinity Systems has not done any business in the Federation.
To your question of how much business the Lai Dai Corporation and its subsidiaries do in the Federation, I can only guess. I would suspect the majority of foreign business on the part of the Lai Dai Corporation is in the Empire, as the corporation continues to invest in the Carthum Conglomerate. But this does not rule out the possibility of business within the Federation.

I have read your report with great interest and I compliment you on the clarity of your statement and the progress of your corporation. I feel that there is great potential in your corporation and I wondered if you would be interested in another investment. At what price would shares be available?

The Zaibatsu is pleased to see LDIS utilising research efforts so rapidly and respect the corporation's hard work and diligence. Our recent withdrawal of support for any Empire's nationalist activity has not diminished our intention to retain research contracts with LDIS or other parties. We recognise and salute LDIS for their progressive stance and considered development.

The current price of shares would be at just above the value given in the report at 330,000 isk. There are currently 76 shares available for sale. However the sale of shares to foreign corporations or individuals in foreign corporations* is currently not permitted. The topic will be brought up at the next board meeting and may be put to a vote of current shareholders.
*Foreign corporations include any predominately Caldari corporation that no longer directly support the State and its corporations or support enemies of the State and its corporations.
