That I might need? By recon-specific I just mean something like "skills that you're somewhat likely to not need all that much unless you're flying a recon ship."
Falcon and rook are what I'll be in, btw.

recon ships are specialised EWAR ships, so EWAR skills are the most recommended.
Everything that gives speed and maneuvrability is more than welcome, as recons are seldom tanked, they're mostly nanoed. so Navigation, Evasive Maneuvring, and MWD related skills are really useful.
Hull Upgrades will be useful too, for t2 nanomodules.
Some recons tend to be cap-heavy (especially the Amarr ones, with neuts and turret disrutpion), so cap-related skills might be very useful.
Do not try and find the signature... that's impossible. Instead only try to realize the truth... There is no signature. |

Recons warp fast. This takes more cap/sec while in warp. Hence, they can't warp very far before totally capping out.

That's not true, warping takes a constant amount of cap per AU, regardless of the speed of travel.

Hrmm.. well, tbh, all of the recons should get basically all of the supplementary skills (drones, tanking - shield AND armor, nav skills, cybernetics 5, booster skills, and thermo skills) all to level 5.
Really, only because as these ships cost twice the amount of a battleship, give no insurance, and are a hell of alot more fragile, you want to be able to do well with it right? That means doing your job (ewar) and being not so fragile.

Recon V usually makes an unexpectedly big difference on the force recons due to the fitting reqs of the cloak.

caldari recons have no drone bay
skills for ew optimal/fall off /strentg = Long distance jamming 4 ,Frequency modulation 4,signal dispersion 4 and add long range targeting lvl 4, targeting lvl 4 and signature analyses lvl 5

Nope, falcons don't have a drone bay, but you'd be suprised how many falcon pilots also fly things like, scorpions

Energy management V, energy systems operations V are essential for caldari ewar. Get those two up to V aswell as electronic warfare V and u never have to worry about cap until u turn on you're mwd.
On a side not, hitting recon ships V is far more important than maxing out you're jamming skills.
