Hello to everyone!
Being on the dark side of the force is easier than the other side mostly because of the new game mechanics. Everyone who tried both knows what i'm talking about. So let's start the story!
After finishing one mission (yeah iv'e become a mission runner for the profit of it) one corpmember (with few time of playing) asks for help in the corp chat. He was being harassed by a pirate (very likely an alt having fun) who had fliped his can. Being new to this game he also flipped the can but the pirate caught him (10M for a empty hauler????? Man that's greedy lol). I went to help him (yeah a little action ) (6 jumps away ), grabed one of my dusty ships (the ones you generally use to have some fun) and went to his system.
My corpmate had his ship blown and the pirate vanished from the system. Finding him again was so easy, i only had to detour a bit to talk to my favourite agent. When i received his mail (10 jumps away ) my hopes were barely zero that he stayed there when we arrived, but so we went there.
As i entered the system (Hooray he was still there ), the search was on! My corpmates (2 of them) were searching the station while i was on the ship scanner (thanks to a really good pirate friend who had teached me how to use it properly on my newbie days) searching for him. It's really easy to find someone with it.
My scanner picked his ship (i was rubbing my hands ), but now i only need to narrow my scan. Suddenly in local i see a distress call for help. I quickly convo the victim and asked who was ramsoming him (it was the same guy!!!!) and sent and invite to him to join fleet.
God what a surprise whe had for him (but concord had one bigger for us ). We warped to our newly aquired fleet member who was already being shot. His shields were failing as also his armor. Strangely the pirate wasn't flashing red to us...
Then again he plead "please help me", we couldn't do anything, because setting any gun on him just would make that concord msg appear on screen. So there it was one guy being shot down as his fleet members could just look at the show doing nothing . But then he starts flashing red, as quick i could set all my ship harware active on him (Hello!!!!! This is CONCORD speaking!! ).
Ohhhhh it's really warm my pod. We were all floating in space, but the pirate had run away laughing at local. The game mechanics had changed much with this fleet introduction.
Moral of the story: Good deeds don't pay that well! LOL
I hope you all enjoyed!
Ps: That happened in high sec.

Someone needs to sticky a thread that explains aggro rules cause nobody seems to know them except pirates and some anti-pies. 0.0 people don't bother aside from learning the dock and jump aggression rules cause they don't have gate guns or sec status hits. Hisec people don't learn them cause they're fuzzy.
I guess it makes sense though when you take a 30-jump cruise through losec and see 5 docked people and sometimes 1 5man pirate gang. -- Distortion| Distortion 2 Preview |

I read the ending first just to make sure you weren't going to be swept off to Bel-Air. Sigh...

rolf same.
but ya i think there really needs to be a sticky about aggro rules, because people are really lost.
I mean even in your post you said; "I went 6 jumps, changed ships, waited for an agent to locate the guy, went another 10jumps". I can garenty that the 15minutes aggro timer to your corp that this guy got for flipping your can had passed by now. So im not entirely sure what you where planning on doing when you got to the system where the can flipper was tbh.

First of all, I'm glad that people are working together to avenge their corp mates demise and I like that :) Only thing that is incorrect in this issue is that you all started shooting at me as soon as you arrived on the scene ;) That's why I started flashing red on your overview - one of your corpmates targeted me and discharged his guns. All in all, your setups were hasty but I understand the time was short. Thing to remember in the future is that you need to get me (or any other high sec pirate) into a better trap - try sending one corp member as a bait in a system and you wait 1 or 2 jumps away or something like that ;) Possibilities are endless hihi Also, tell your new war director to brush up his skills and learn fire discipline ;) I believe it was him who locked me and started shooting at me right away which ultimately led to your demise. Oh and some poor guy lost a impairor near a station :( He was concorded because he went after his stuff not respecting the criminal timer ;) Stuff was ok i guess, scripts will help me a lot, tyvm :) All in all i salvaged 49 items out of your wreckages :D Will help me a lot in my future adventures :D
p.s. I didn't smacktalk, unfortunate victim tried to so I had to reply to him not to you guys ;)

"one corpmember (with few time of playing)", "Being new to this game he also flipped the can but the pirate caught him (10M for a empty hauler?????Surprised Man that's greedy lol)."
here's the info on your corpmember, notice the birth date :)

Eve is supposed to be a fun place and i son't support smack talk also. You did well not to reply.
Our timer unfortunately went of, but as one fleet member (not corpmate) was being shot we should had get another again. And i agree with the replies here about the new game mechanics being posted somewhere.
As for the lost items use them well!

Many people think that having a older char means it has lots of experience. Many times isn't that way as people start playing and then stop for some time. But if the other person is really skilled and still you win it's a fight you will never forget!

wrong. You joined gangs with someone he was already ransoming. Which implies that he was already aggressed to the can flipper and had already scrambled this person before he joined your gang. Which is why he was not flashing red to you.
