LOL Thx. Ok let me be more specific.
Besides killing someone with T2 stuff, are T2 ships found in missions or do you only find them when exploring?

Tech II salvage comes from two places:
Tech II player wrecks.
Faction (Dark Blood, True Sansha, Dread Guristas etc) or Officer NPC spawns.
Both could theoretically be found in missions I suppose, except for the officers of course. But the player wreck is more likely to be your own (and the salvage price probably won't make up for that), and the faction rats are very, very rare in missions.
This rarity is why Tech II rigs are so expensive. Tech II player wrecks aren't always salvaged, and those that are may also be used for private ventures inside corporations and alliances. This severely reduces the supply to the market.

You can get T2 salvage from "rare" spawns.. For example, there are Sansha rats and there are True Sansha rats. The True Sansha wrecks have a chance of yielding T2 salvage. However, these rats are rare. Most hidden complexes that I've seen in 0.0 end with a single rare spawn after you kill 3 or 4 waves of normal rats, but beyond that, you're probably better off following someone like Privateer Alliance or some other Empire war corp/alliance and salvaging the wrecks of T2 ships as they die - that is, IF you don't have access to 0.0 where "rare" spawns are more common. You CAN find them in belts in highsec and lowsec just as well as in 0.0, but you'll only see frigates and cruisers... for it to be worth it, imo you want battleship spawns.
EDIT: Oh yeah, Officers too - like the guy above me said. http://defiasblog.insurmountablelogic.comPlease visit your user settings to re-enable images.[/url]
