I see alot of talk about people running lots of lvl4 missions and making lots of isk from the LP's. But I still don't understand how they do that. Can you sell the LP's, or is it by buying items from the LP store then reselling them on the market? Anyone care to explain, or point to a guide or something... Thanks,
btw, I did try the search function first

An example of Lp's=isk depends on your faction and market fluctuations ofc.
For example i buy 1 million Emp L bullets and with the Lp's and a smalla mount of cash i transform these into "republic Emp L" so i make them faction worthy, trow them on the market and profit.

This.
Or using them to buy faction ships/faction ship blueprints and selling them (like the infamous Caldari Navy Raven). Or buying +5 implants/high end skill grafts for resale, or advanced social skill books (which are often only available from LP stores). Basically just buying stuff from the LP store and selling it for a hefty profit.

It would seem the standard implants would be the simplist way to go.
Maybe I am wrong but many seemed happy to make about 1k isk per LP.
The +4 implants cost 12k LP and 12m isk and are selling for 23 - 28m (that's sell orders, not buy orders). Am I looking at this wrong?

I'm not that good at making isk, usually better at losing it tbh but hey..
If you invest your loyalty points in ammo and take it to the right place to sell, you can turn a tidy profit, also implants as has been stated already.

Well, each character only needs one set of implants (unless they have an accident). So you may see lots of sale orders, but the volume is probably low, not many people buy.
On the other hand, ammo, people shoot ammo by the truckloads and always need more. As an example.

I would disagree that only one set of implants is needed. With the advent of jump clones, it's possible for any one character to have multiple sets. Granted, it's not likely that one would risk their only +5 set in 0.0 pvp, but that player might decide that risking a +1 to +3 set is reasonable on that 0.0 clone to keep from losing too much ground training skills. Plus, there are alternate characters. The posts that talk about research alts or other specialized characters usually seem to recommend at least some low level implants to speed up the alt's training.
