From Eve long time, far away etc
Love the graphics.
Love the buttons and layout. Can you imagine one of those being a cloak ON/cloak OFF indicator!?
Hate the scanner though.
Let's go back to the future! Why was this layout scrapped? Must I forage through dev notes?? __________________________________________________

Only being able to see one set of modules at a time was fail.

Works for me.
Anyway it's a screenshot from earlier times in EvE. Oh well, guess you had to be there. __________________________________________________

Wouldn't integrating the two be good though? Bring all mods and the scanner from now to the layout and brightness of yesteryear? __________________________________________________

Well, the radar was removed to help with lag. As were missile trails And missiles were altered so they no longer flew out of the launchers and curved round onto their target. Some things I remember changing from back then.
Being able to see one module rack at a time was a pain, but at least you could easily see when they were on or off, unlike the faint green glow you get round the mods nowadays. -- DEVS get multiple CPUs/Cores per system and all will be forgiven. |

IIRC it was a resource hog and it wasn't very user friendly seeing as you could only display either your highs, mids or lows and not all 3.
The scanner looked cool but trying to get anything good from it was hard at best :p

Okay scrap the scanner. but a module on/off should be clear. I really like the definitive look of the buttons.

ZOMG the font ZOMG Noone mentioned the sleak sexyness & READABILITY of the old font....when eve on a high resolution didn't cause immediate eyecancer. :(

It was improved, I don't know if the new one looks better or not, though I think it does, but it's easier to use.

Yes it is better now(I remember the radar too) but please please change the UI so that the modules have a non-transparent background so we see if they are on or not in an instance, rather than orientating our view to get a dark background behind it ======================== XXX |

I want the eyecandy back
Roaming space using scanner to find debris and gas clouds in kick ass colors was a nice thing to do. Remember the solar sails and such cool items, I miss them.
