Ok, one of my friends recently quit EVE Online after harassment and such but meh, and he left 300mil ISK to me. I also have 180mil form other things so i have about 480mil to invest. Im pretty n00by at this game so i was wondering what would be a good way to spend this money? Ships? I don't really know.
I was thinking maybe a battleship (abbadon) or a Hulk, but i dont know much about missions and how much they pay.
Any suggestions? Cheers :)

find out why your mate quit, and if it's why i think, ask yourself if you want to stay in game as noob - this is my alt posting, cos if i post on main i get war dec'd from 30 jumps away, by people who are never going to get within 10 jumps of me because they have to come through .3 .4 space

I love EVE though, just because my friends corp had problems (they were all mates and then they had a fall-out...in RL) doesn't change my mind one bit that i should be playing this game. Anyway, i saw a guy with like MegaPulse (?) lasers and they were all like "pew pew" and i was like "i'm soo not leaving".
Any more suggestions?

Listen to this guy, he knows what he's talking about. He told me to invest in passive targeters two months ago and I bought 60,000 from him for a few hundred million... he tells me the price is gonna skyrocket any day now .

Use it as a buffer to potential losses and continue your life as normal, or take a few wild rides in more dangerous spaces.

Market Discussion Forum
Your best bet is take a look in that forum and do a bit of research into investments..
Failing that, there is always trading.

Never give your isk to anyone, investment scams are common, the biggest ones are built on trust.
Instead, i would give it to an alt on the same account for 2 reasons.
1: you can use that alt with minimal skills (t1 hauler + basic trade skills) to make a lot more money selling/buying/moving stuff around
2: its out of your wallet, so you wont spend it on crap you dont need

If you study hard missions can be a very good source of income, but you mess up once and you may lose alot...I suggest you spend the money to mine with, whilst you work up some skills...Then once you have a dream setup for your abaddon you can buy one,fit it and insure it and go missioning.
As far as the money that comes out of it it depends on what agent and how often you mission but you can make from 20mil to 100mil a day without even grabbing wrecks(100mil if you spend all day on it). This is what happens when a kestrel with thermal missiles declares war on earth |

DonÆt give your isk to anyone, best way to use it is to watch the antibiotics market. Some stations always sell low, others always buy high. The price resets after every downtime. Idea is buy it when the price is low, ship it to the station that is buying high and sell. These are NPC goods, so they are not being bought and sold by players, antibiotics provide the biggest return in NPC goods.
With that kind of isk you could keep buying all the antibiotics around and stock them (control the market), then do some big hauling runs (Iteron 5 with cargo riggs holds 38.5k m3), move them to the buying stations and sell when the price is highest. Once you got the market cornered you should be making around 12 mill a day for about 40 mins work.
You would be best to run missions in your spare time as to get your standings up because ultimately lvl4 mission running will make you more isk and running them with friends is a lot of fun.
