I love the stories Verone, I was looking for one I read before but I can't find it. It was the one where you and your crew are in The Last Gate watching the coverage of the economic summit and then the Nyx crashes into the station. What number was that one?

Episode 61 builds up toward a somewhat dark revelation that will come in future.
I do hope that people still enjoy reading my work as much as I do writing, and to all those I spoke with at fanfest who've read my work, thank you for the kind words.
I hope to be providing you with more reading material for a long time to come.

Edited by: Verone on 20/11/2008 16:13:28 Today being the third anniversary of Veto's formation, I've decided to release a series of writing that have been on the back burner for almost a a year and a half now.
The first part of "Welcome To Venal" can be found below the usual episodes in the index list. The series follows Verone's first trip to Venal, and his first real taste of planetside life in a run down and poverty stricken area. When all episodes are subsequently released it will flesh out the story of how he came to be married, and in loose terms how he subsequently became to be so heavily involved with the Guristas.
It also paves the way to show where his neuroses surrounding his subsequent divorce a year later from Naph stem from, and how his feelings regarding being left alone have developed from dispair to rage.
More episodes will be added to complete this series over the coming week or two once editing is complete.
As always, I hope you enjoy my work.

Edited by: UD549 on 15/12/2008 07:29:54 Outlaws are weaksauce. They have to run when they commit crimes. I like the Dictator approach, commit massive amounts of crimes while getting your army to protect you from the law. I would like to see you take on more of a warlord role then a petty outlaw.

While not a "Warlord", I assume that most Pirate CEOs when looked at from IC terms are typically seen along the lines of how the heads of Mafia families and cartels are seen today.
While not invincible and no where near completely safe, they have a lot of protection around them and generally delegate most of the nasty work to the people who work for them. Saying that, Ethan has a strong liking for getting his hands dirty, even with so many people working for him.
For those who do reguarly read what I write, apologies for the lack of releases over the christmas period, it's been a pretty busy time. Three more new episodes (65,66,67) have arrived in December, however I have a much larger volume of writing planned for the first part of 2009, a lot of it looking back over Ethan's time before capsuleerism, and his early times as a graduate.

Now that the christmas break is over, I present three more Episodes forward to Episode 70, one of which was co-written with Kyoko Sakoda, and another than centers around the re-founding of one of the four Veto Corp divisions (Veto Investments) with a new CEO in mid December.
I have another 14 currently in progress and planning, so I hope the people who do read enjoy these ones.
2009 is shaping up to be a busy year.

Okay, so it's been a while since I released work.
With the tournament to work on for three weeks, plus Christmas and New Year celebration it's been tough to fit everything in. Now that it's over and done with, it feels good to be able to get back to writing again.
I've added Episodes 71 and 72 today, a look back to the third anniversy of Veto Corp, and a look further back at a snippet of Ethan's childhood aspirations and dreams.
More should arrive over the next week or so as a few more longer episodes are in the final stages of being completed.
Hope you enjoy them as much as I do putting them together.

Episode 73 arrives on the list.
I've recieved a few mails from people asking why my work has centered more around stationside stuff in the later half of the releases. A few people have said they enjoyed my work when I was writing about combat in space, so to spark up some apetite for upcoming episodes this one surrounds an engagement we have a few weeks back.
Hope you enjoy it!

Added Episode 74 : Search.
This one is based around an ingame event organised by Jude Kopenhagen that I ended up becoming involved with. It also goes some way toward giving reasoning behind why Verin Hakatain (Stitcher) and Ethan became friendly recently.
Thanks to both Jude and Stitcher for their awesome work on the event, it was a pleasure to be a part of.
Hope you enjoy the fiction as much as I enjoyed being part of it.

Episodes 75-78 added.
Most of these are pretty quiet and relaxed, I felt the need to break the pace after such a long period of fleshing out some of the harsh realities of Ethan's time as an Egger.
I have around another 10 pieces in the works, plus three more parts to conclude the "Welcome To Venal" series that should be ready over the next week or so.
Hope you enjoy them. As always comments are always welcome, and thanks to those who've mailed me in response to Episodes.

Okay, so it's been a little more than a week. For those few who do enjoy my writing, apologies.
I've had a lot of positive eve-mail, and a few that have contained some constructive criticism on minor grammatical errors that seem to occur now and again in my work, so I've been through and re-read every piece of fiction I've written so far and cleared these up.
It's taken some time... a total of almost 450 pages so far, but it's put me in a good position and frame of mind to start putting out fiction again, and given me some fresh inspiration and clarity on what's been written so far.
In the next few days over the weekend hopefully there'll be another 5 or so pieces for those who're interested to read.

I do actually have a spreadsheet that lists all the Episodes chronologically so that the events are all in the correct order, but it's mainly used to keep my head straight and ensure that I don't mess up continuity and suchlike.
Maybe I'll release it at some point, we'll see. For now though, I'm happy to keep confusing you with the timeline, so long as you enjoy reading what I put together.

that would be nice if u let me have a peek at it thou, actually thinking about it running through my mind remmebering bits of past storys and putting them toghter is quite fun.
I really do enjoy ur storys.
I'm dyslexic and i mean really not just too lazy to write properly, it takes a lot of effort for my post to make sense when they do
as for writing on paper my 9 year old daughter trumps me
however i excell at reading i can finsh full books in 6 hours i was in prison when i was younger and ther was not much else to do but read and ever since then i read a book every couple of days because i enjoy it and i'm enjoying reading ur storys you just gonna have to write them quicker
