Some of you may say, it¦s not worth to talk about a small fight in here. But i will do it anyway, because it was great fun. Yeah Fun! Pew Pew without lag, without smack and without blob! Thats how Eve should be!
Well here we go: After the blue 350 men lagfest in DMC Space a part of the home heading Ethereal Dawn Fleet decided to visit the good old neighbour Smashkill. A small support group jumped in wnm-v0 and sieged the station, while the main part waited 2 jumps out. As expected Smash answered quickly and a response group docked from station to engage our group. Our support could hold them until the main fleet arrived and after 15 minutes fight ED had the upperhand. The Survivors of the Smash Group docked or warped out. As we looted the battlefield the local rapidly filled with Smash/Roadkill/Atlas Reinforcements, so our FC decided to retreat. While warping out, the enemys support allready started to engage again. 2 Jumps out we hold again, waiting for the enemy¦s fleet. We expected that they will follow us one by one and that we can take advantage of this. Indeed we could make some kills but after 5 minutes the united Smash/Roadkill/Atlas group outnumbered us 2:1 or 3:1 (not sure about the exact numbers sorri!) After getting heavy looses we broke off the fight and had to run. Gratulations to Smashkill for organizing such a quick and hard response. Can¦t wait for the next fight ;-)
Kills: 5 BS, 1 BC, 1 Elite Cruiser, 3 Cruiser, 2 Recon, 1 Interdictor, 1 Interceptor, 1 Frigate Losses: 9 BS, 3 BC, 1 Cruiser, 1 Interceptor, 1 Elite Frigate, 1 Cov Ops
(Numbers from ED Board. Maybe there are some kills still not posted so forgive any wrong numbers)

Edited by: Arria Periclee on 04/11/2007 04:16:57 Aww, looks like I've missed all the fun. But then again, I'll be a big mushy hippy and point out that both sides seem to have had fun, and that's excellent. Congrats to ED and the allies our guys went out to help, seems that we did a great job. Not that surprised on the foes' quality either, that was to be expected. You guys are pros, and we could be facing worst enemies. See you again on the battlefield, and no mercy!

Glad to hear you guys had some fun. I always like hearing about local, small gang action. Seems like all CAOD has these days is Goonspam

That was a great fight you guys brought, I enjoyed it more than any in the last couple of weeks.
Special gratz to those smashkillers who tried the time honoured "warp in on your own against a gang of 20" tactic, providing rich entertainment for me as I sat in my stealth bomber and watched while trying to get a warp-in point on the sniper BS group. Although to be fair I saw a grey pod or two heading out from the kamikaze attempts. Does anyone else here think a cargo hold full of cap 800s should make a bigger boom when a ship blows up?

Truth. If I'd have to redo my character I'd go for 2/3's down the alphabet ;) "War is a continuation of commerce by other means" - Unknown Caldari philosopher
