I am looking at training to use this or a similar setup for a Brutix
Medium Armor Repairer II Medium Armor Repairer II Armor Thermic Hardener II Armor Kinetic Hardener II Armor Explosive Hardener II
Medium Electrochemical Capacitor Booster I Warp Disruptor II 10MN MicroWarpdrive I X5 Prototype I Engine Enervator
Heavy Electron Blaster II Heavy Electron Blaster II Heavy Electron Blaster II Heavy Electron Blaster II Heavy Electron Blaster II Heavy Electron Blaster II Heavy Electron Blaster II
5x Hammerhead II
What skills beyond the required would be needed to most efficiently run a Brutix in low sec?
I've got Mechanic/Engineering 4, Energy Management and Systems 3, Electronics 4.

Only thing I can recommend is go for the passive armor resist skills and use passive armor hardening mods such as EANM II's. The brutix can get pretty cap-greedy so the less active mods you have running , the better.

Brutix doesn't have a very good tank, so I would probably recommend ECM drones instead of hammerheads. Then put 2 Magstabs, DC, EANM, MARII.

ECM drones are not godlike devices of death that will permajam your enemy, you know. Anyway, I'd max all the armor compensation skills cept for EM, then 2 x EANMIIs and 1 x DCUII give you resists almost equal to 3 x active ones. Anyway, the 7% or so lost is worth it, since you'll be running blasters + MARs, this ain't a nos myrm so you need all the cap you can get :) If you put a single powergrid rig on it (which will only require Jury Rigging to 3, Mechanic 3 you should have), you can fit 5 x t2 Ions and 2 x t2 electrons with AWU at 4 if I remember correctly, + 5 x hammerhead IIs with good drone skills should give you decent dps for gangs. Would still not solo with it though. If you want a magstab on it, train for an EoS/Astarte :P
training skills... :( |
