Yes, you do. As a network engineer and not a half-bad physicist, I'm looking forward to this explanation.

IAC still found time to mess around in Curse, its odd, they send people somewhere else when they are getting manhandled in their own space.

Needed to take a break from getting manhandled. It's not as fun as it sounds (Especially when you can't fight back).

So lemmy get this straigth. We're told (by McBoB) not to bring superior numbers to a battle because it's not honorable and it causes lag, and then someone complains about a roaming IAC gang that went and did something constructive elsewhere and we're being told by some nobody alliance that roaming is stupid and we should put all our numbers in fat.
God damnit IAC, get your **** together!

Complaining? We had a blast. We just thought it was odd. But then again, we are nobodies and have nobody politics, unlike the somebodies. Please roam more often.

how would you, as an network engineer explain that situation? wher a certain group of people is acting with no problems whatso ever, and the other one suffers in tremendoes lag..???
iam full of anticipation...
Tinfoil aside -- DeWieKat made an assertion with an unreasonable burden of proof -- it's clear that CCP's network code is an utter wreck. The fact is that, for one reason or another, BoB was able to destroy a POS without appearing in space when the RSF fleet had loaded grid well over an hour before.
There's nothing to say about that, than to point out that when even traditional wisdom like "make sure to load grid before the fight" is inconsistent with reality, as in an example like this, something is badly broken.

It doesnt really matter if you load the grid first or not... All the grid is is your fleet and the tower... you still have to load the incoming 300 man blob and the server still has to process that.

Any Caps Killed?
Any POS's Killed?
What is POS count now?
iaac/red/goon caps did not engage bob/mx/fix/friends caps. However bob/mc/fix caught 3 straggling caps and killed them.
All IAC POS out of reinforced are dead. (2 or 3)
2 IAC outposts were taken over.
If you want POS count you will have to go scan, I can't count that high.
We didn't want those outposts anyway.
We did
