The transmission cuts in; Ugleb stands before the camera on a balcony overlooking a cavernous hangar bay filled with ships off loading supplies. The Thukker Tribe emblem is visible on the hangar walls. A rolled up banner is being raised to hang near the bay entrance.
As the banner is unfurled, the fabric races deck-wards and settles against the wall revealing the bloody fist of the UshraÆKhan, a cheer goes up from the deck crews before they return to their tasks. As the roar of voices resides to the clatter of dock work, Ugleb nods with satisfaction and addresses the camera.
ôI begin this transmission with a personal message, I have in recent days returned to the Council of the UshraÆKhan. I mention this for one reason, so that all who listen will understand that these words are the words of the UshraÆKhan.ö
He pauses, settling into the moment and choosing his words.
ôThe last time I spoke for the UshraÆKhan it was on behalf of a Council led by our honoured former leader, Maggot. Today I have the privilege of delivering the command of MaggotÆs successor, Karn Mithralia.
Hear then KarnÆs first order since accepting the mantle of leadership that makes a break from our 'Burn Providence, Burn' campaign. It has been decided to temporarily suspend current operations and answer the call of honour.
As both our friends & enemies know well, to the UshraÆKhan our word is our bond. When we have received support in the past, we do all that we can to answer the call of friends when they in turn need us. As the ISS stood by us in our hour of need, we later stood by them in theirs.
Today other old friends who have in the past stood alongside us now stand under the threat of many enemies. It is our turn now to stand by them. In our former home of Molden Heath we see many old friends under attack from outsiders, be they the mercenaries of KIA or CAIN, the murderers of Hnolku. And as ever Amarrian Paramilitaries continue their predations upon the Matari, and this happens in Matari skies!ö
The fist of his right hand lashes out, striking a metal shipping crate with a loud bang. Ugleb cuts off, biting off the anger to regain composure before continuing with jaw set firm and staring steadily into the camera.
We hear the call of Molden Heath, what we see happening here will not be ignored.
The UshraÆKhan is commencing operations in Molden Heath in support of its residents. We have long promised that we shall defend the people of the Republic despite the actions of their government, and so we shall.
But do not mistake our purpose. As we look forwards, we remember what has gone before. This return to Republic space signals neither reconciliation nor forgiveness. We remember the murder of Karishal Muritor at Republic hands. We remember the illegitimate arrests of the Voices of Matar, we denounce the appeasement polices of MidularÆs regime and censorship of Tribal freedoms.
And fear not, we also remember the traitors of Providence, and do not forgive.ö

UglebÆs lip twists into a sneer of contempt at this memory, disgusted he looks downwards. He frowns, turning his right hand to see his knuckles. As the hand is raised a trickle of blood runs down to his wrist, soaking into the fabric of his sleeve.
ôThere has been much Matari blood spilled by treachery, itÆs toll weighs heavily upon these events. The thing about treachery is that it has a habit of leaving stains behind. Stains that do not wash away and that do not soon fade. There shall come reckoning for all traitors, one by one. We do not forget, and forgiveness is seldom ours to give, for who are we, who am I, to speak for the dead? We can but hasten justice.
But above all, we remember those who came to Providence from the Republic to lend us their strength in defiance of encroaching Imperialism. We remember our debt to them and seek to honour it. As our motto says æWe come for our peopleÆ.
Now, if only for a little while, the UshraÆKhan is coming home.ö

if you try hard, maybe your superior offcer sponsors you a real name one day.
Maybe one like 'Grubb' or 'Seventy Two'.
There we are again - life always goes in circles. Hedalelofarber and Istodard of old come to mind. I assume the pirates of Molden Heath can look forward to some intense action up there. Good for the Empire as you'll be removed further from the borders.

Good hunting, Ushra'Khan.

This entire operation is a regrettable one, and one that could have been avoided had Commander Char allowed the State to deal with its own problems and not interfered, or if she had done the right and honorable thing, and apologized to the State for her mistake and made recompense. Sadly, the Minmatar people appear to have given into their worst instincts and as a result, we now see them led down a dark path from which they may never recover.
For whatever reason, they have sought help from cutthroats and thieves like Verone, Napthalia, and the scum that follows them. They have sought help from Naqam, a corporation that has pledged to serve the inhuman Sansha's Nation. Electus Matari, who we once considered honorable protectors of a nation under siege, counterparts of our own as seen through a darkened window, have sold their souls to the very forces that threaten millions of spacefaring Minmatar citizens every day, as Ushra'Khan did only a few months ago. They have compromised their integrity for the sake of what? The Reserve and their other opponents continue to operate unabated within Minmatar space, and they have been forced to slink into the shadows under the protection of vipers. This is not a case of doing the wrong thing for the right reasons, it is a case of sacrificing everything you are for the cold comfort of a temptress' embrace that will turn into a constrictor's grasp when the time comes to pay.
Those of us in the State who had high hopes for the Republic -- who hoped that one day, they would see the path they were on and try to change it, to take a new path, one which would bring them into the community of nations as equals -- now only see the continuing descent of a people who cannot leave their past behind. It is like seeing the jaws of a lizard locked on a man's arm even after its neck has been severed, a futile and ultimately pointless act of defiance. There may still be time for the Republic to reverse course, but not if the citizens of that troubled nation continue down this dark road. You cannot defend your nation against one oppressor by selling it into servitude to another master, one with even fewer scruples. Only tragedy can follow such actions.
To those citizens and visitors of the Republic who now see their spacelanes besieged by the pirate vessels of Veto and the Black Rabbits, you have only Electus Matari and Ushra'Khan to thank. Think of that every time they claim to fight for the good of the Minmatar people, every time they say what horrible fiends we Caldari are. They are not defending you. They are not helping the Minmatar people. They are perpetuating their own misguided existence, they owe loyalty to no one but themselves, and they ask you to pay for their safety with your blood. The Reserve holds no grudge against the Republic -- we are content to let you live in peace, so long as you show us the same courtesy. Are the policies of Ushra'Khan and Electus Matari the kind of policies you want to embrace? Will you continue to live your lives forever as former slaves, or will you forge a new identity, one you can be proud of? One which gives the Minmatar people a bright, vibrant future as an independent people, a strong people free of any kind of domination by any master, even one who claims to be benevolent? Or will you continue down a spiralling staircase that will only take you to a horror you have only recently escaped from?
We will continue our operations as previously planned -- the actions of Ushra'Khan today change nothing other than the weight of our hearts. -- CAPT Svetlana Scarlet CAIN Chief of Diplomatic Staff

Incorrect.
I'm begining to understand how you managed to kill over fifty thousand of your own citizens in a botched attack if your combat intelligence is always this poor.
Veto Corp were not asked to help in the fight aganist CAIN. It was our choice to become involved, although we've yet to see CAIN dare to set foot in space outside the jurastiction of CONCORD forces.
Veto Corp are Gurista loyalist. Consider us an enemy of the State.

Well isnt this quite a turn of fates. To think its been almost 4 years since we last engagaed KIA when they were hired to kill Ushra Khan. So many things have changed on both sides.
Suffice to say this will be a welcome change to the fighting and infiltration of the CVA network. But that is both boring and tedious.
This will be quick and painfull for both sides involved.
We will fight until the last. But this is not news.

What a curious response. You draw little to no distinction between Electus Matari and the Ushra'Khan and hold each organisation accountable for the others actions. And you insist on implying that EM are responsible for bringing both Veto and the Gurista's into Molden Heath when both of those groups repeatedly state that they their presence has not been requested. You tar us with that same brush yet we have only just arrived in the region.
To whom did the Ushra'Khan sell its soul? Who or what is this dark master you claim will conquer the Matari? You offer the people vague predictions of doom mixed with jumbled fact and you dare to tell them to forget the past? Yes, I am sure you would like that. The past that brings us into conflict with you is nothing less than murder done by your hands. You would urge the Matari to forget and leave justice undone? I think not.

The Guristas Associates are Gurista Loyalists, consider us an enemy of the state.
We weren't asked by EM to get involved, however you can consider marginal security space a no-fly-zone for State Loyalists, we are in Molden Heath to enforce that policy.
Additionally this means that the Matari can locate the Caldari fleets easilly in CONCORD controlled space and the loyalists movements are limited and this is just a pleasant side-effect.
