i have taken a BS into a mission reciently and i do believe you all will want to have 1 large smart bomb because if you need to warp out i noticed the friggates ram your ship so your BS will not allign properly. and patition will not remburse for this reason. bung holes!

i can defete level 5 missions and i was in the level 4 mission to help a corp mate and we all die because friggates or a bug in mission bounces your ship around when you need to leave.

Sounds more like they were trying to orbit something you were too close to and hit your ship as a result - bit like Drones getting in the way and bumping ships too close to you when they just orbit yourself -----------------------------------------

So you cannot spell your own name, much less other words, you have to warp out in a lvl4, but you can defeat lvl5s? Somehow I find it hard to believe you are anything but a troll...

Edited by: Mr Cleann on 17/09/2007 16:58:21 If you use a bomb on your bs to clear ships, which isn't a bad isn't a bad idea. Make damn sure that no one that is in a different corp is near your ship. Same with loot cans owned by a diff corp. If you let that bomb go and it hits one of them. Then it wont matter if the npc rats kill ur ship. Cause concord will help them.

no i was no was not warp jammed my speed indicater said warping... plus they were trying to warp scram me but i had stabs on including a sencer booster to counter stab effects. had an alt ship remotely reping 2 bs because was fitted mith all mids and lows having energy replenish mods so the support will never stop. we decide to refit our shipps because the npc frigates had been webbed with 8 medium guns on it and 10 medium drones on it from 2 bs and the npc drones were out reping the damage. and both bs pilots have 2 million skill points in drone skills. and have 6 million skill points in gunnery and 3 million skill points in tanking skills. this was crazy and the raven with T2 torps wasnt able to kill anything either. so i group warp out to set fleet bonus and refit for optimal damage and my suport ship flew away leaving me and a raven webbed behind. this is when we started to slowly die and 3 minuts later the raven died and 15 minutes later my rokh died.

No of course not but even if he is a non-native speaker (just like I am btw) he has horrible mistakes in there that make any babelfish translation look like shakespeare. In my experience people with this kind of horrible spelling are usually stupid, lazy and/or intentionally annoying native speakers.
And I DO expect people to at least have the brains/dedication/decency to check the spelling on their very character name...

Tyvm I don't expect 100% correctness obviously. But I expect people to at least TRY to make their posts intelligible and pleasing rather than hurting to other peoples eyes/minds. Which the op clearly does not.

This is truly amazing, there are surely 10k+ players in EVE who can solo any mission of level 4. To me it would seem that a pilot able to pwn level 5 missions should have wits enough to sort out a level 4 as well, not to mention fitting correct hardeners a decent tank etc. Hell, even a few months old toons can handle most level 4 missions comfortably in a passive Drake with no issues at all.
Having run quite a few level 4 myself, I have never seen NPC frigs (or anything else) bump me or anyone else. Concerning damage, unless you folks fitted snowball launchers, BS's should have no problem at all in dealing with the NPC's in these missions. Certainly not with drones! This is either a pointless whine, trolling or both. ___________________________________________ The truth is in the eye of the be(er)holder |

So .. if you're able to do lvl 5, but that with 3 bs (2 of them with 2M in drones and you don't manage to kill a freg ?!) you fail in lvl 4 .. it's really hard to believe ..
What mission was this difficult ?

Eh, this post could be some thinly veiled ploy to try and increase the number of people using smartbombs in missions, which is now an incredibly bad idea given the prevalence of cloaked recons that try to intentionally get hit by smartbombs in order to draw a concord response.

Good call. I'll second this as the most reasonable explanation for the amount of nonsense in the OP.

i was also part of this adventure and i am a very old charictor. i had the most skill points and still noticed that my corp members got webbed so bad they were traveling 4ms and the friggates were ramming the battleships. champian and i were merly assisting a player that has difficult time with level 4 missions and also to speed mission where we kill and move to next mission no delays we were turning out level 4 missions in under an hour till we ran into (silence the informant) when my and champions drones together were not killing the drones we thought that to be impossible to i ordered a tacktical withdraw to refit and i was gang warped away and i was the one keeping the damage off them. they stay behind because they were ramed over and over. normaly champion and i can sit back in a level 4 mission and let the drones kill it all thats how much exp in drones but a stupid frig would not die. knock it dow to 20% shilds and not even 1 sec later 100% shilds. i think the bug in this mission was the stacking slowing ship to 4ms is ovver stacked on webbes and the friggs reping shilds like that if over stacking of remote shild repers. i do missions for angel cartel so i spend much time in 0.0

i was in the mission also i was not fighting but i did get to see everything i was there to salvageas the wreaks drop. when the frigates were orbiting the battleships you see them collide then the bs would spin the opposite direction of the warp out point.
why do you guys act like children and challenge somones spelling or gramer then come to find out you also mis-spell words? if your albe to raed tihs tahn you need to sotp ricdlunig poeple and be hpapy you are cpaalbe of cmoperehiotn.

Edited by: Harris on 22/09/2007 15:51:37 The post is being flamed as it seems very unlikely to have occured given the 'experience' that the OP states he has.
I can however appreciate that you all weren't set up for the mission 'solo' and relied on each other to try and whiz through it.
I can also appreciate that there are, on occasions, NPCs that just don't seem to want to die. For the record then, it isn't a smartbomb that you need. It is a bit of nous.
1) If your drones don't seem to want to hit the frigs, then recall them to orbit and then reassign them. They are more likely to intercept the frig rather than follow it around. I believe that was your problem.
2) Don't get blase about missions, fit for them properly and you won't get your fingers burnt next time.
3) Don't let your support leave before you do if you rely on it. Also, if it took you three minutes to die - (and 2 minutes for the first ship) then why didn't the support come back to boost you again?
4) English is my first language, I am confident that you speak it better than I do your first language. (unless your first language is German then that's a fact) - take time to correct basic spelling errors - or prepare your post in "word" or something similar with a spell check, to avoid needless flame.
