I went to Syndicate the other day after our war targets docked up in Stacmon and wouldn't come to play. Plenty of targets. Now if only BRUCE and OSS could have seem red back then, would have made getting out of Syndicate so much easier

The nap ended because of a dispute over some systems that Bruce want exclusively for themselfs, but have OSS member corps living there.
Bruce have a history of abusing NAPs. Not the first time something along these lines has happened.
In the end it is all good though. OSS have a lot of friends that could help if the situation with Bruce gets out of hand. Bruce will be carefull with what they do if they are as clever as their name states.
Right now it is just some old fashioned pew pew that is going on, and is enjoyed by all.

As today a pos come out of reinforcement and what even numbers and ships from the both sides and bruce just left boring.... Man i can honour and respect people like outbreak and omen they come and fight. Using what they have but the bruce figthing is useless get the lag and sheer numbers bring you victory... Personally i will be disgusted with such a wins.. Bulgarian experienced *****ers - the OSS |

To be totally blunt and yet as respectful as I can, the two major fleet engagements I have been in in the last few days have resulted in nothing but overwhelming victories by BRUCE. While your attempt at blustering is only mildly disturbing, I believe I will let the killboards tell the story far better than I ever could. Good luck, but then again, not too much .

Ill be completely honest .... this weekend u whipped us pretty bad 2 days in a row with overwhelming numbers. Although we did get several kills, most were from hit and runs, while yours were from the larger engagements. Today however was very disappointing for me, as we actually matched your numbers and you didnt stay to fight. If you would have it would undoubtedly have been a very exciting and close battle as both sides were pretty evenly matched.... but whatever to each his own, your alliance has it playstyle and we have ours. Overall, gf this weekend I enjoyed it, looking forward to more.
P.S. It seems our deathstar will live on for now.

Edited by: Tenak''Talar on 17/09/2007 20:31:28 In response to the "we had equal numbers and Bruce didn't fight" post, I'll post a quote. I don't remember what movie or book I read this in, but the quote (which I'll have to paraphrase, I don't remember it verbatim), goes something like:
"Soldiers don't fight fair. Soldiers come up behind their enemy and club him in the back of the head. If you want to win, you fight like a soldier."
While it may not lead to glory or song or anything like that, it's a valid thought.

its a game... sometimes, just sometimes, the fun can come from taking part rather than just winning. It's just a real shame when the need to win (or is it fear of losing?) gets in the way of the taking part imo.

and actualy we not only kept the pos today but then got roaming and get a few kills with bruce docking when we are on sight. Before they blob us again.. And again we do it fine.. So bruce blob fiting get annoying at the end and outbreak gang shows and bruce just ran having the superiority in numbers but seems the scare is too big. ALso the blobs bring lot of lag and most of our people die without be able to do anything. I have petioned the ccp for my loss in VV yesterdat when my ship went down without activating a single module...But this happens when you got 80+ with drones and few capitals jumping in the system... The way I remember it the OSS blob was camping a smaller BRUCE gang into a station first. It took them a while but eventually BRUCE got their own blob going, engaged OSS on both sides of a gate, and OSS took some heavy losses and left. Then, of course, 0utbreak showed up and podded a few BRUCE

I think the total is five engagements in two days, four to BRUCE, one to OSS. Twice you jumped into us (the one victory here,) three times we've jumped into you. Somehow, magically, BRUCE has used lag each time to utterly cripple you while magically blessing our pilots with perfectly lag-free screens. We somehow blobbed you with unbelievable numbers even though we only breached 2:1 odds in one of those fights. (Note - your numbers may not corroborate this because you seem to have a problem posting more than 50% of your losses.)
This morning, yes, we left your POS alone. Engaging an equal-sized opponent at a POS where they have a fully functional and fully-directed set of guns is stupid. Contrary to popular opinion, we are not. I'm sorry if our penchant for suicidal attacks isn't as strong as yours, Atlar. Had we engaged, we certainly would have lost multiple capitals and the majority of our support fleet - and so we did not do so. Hats off to you for a surprisingly well-prepared defense; we were not expecting such.
Please share more of your highly unbiased reporting, as I'm sure it provides an entertaining counterpoint to my obviously slanted commentary.
Apologies to those readers who now have sarcasm leaks springing up at the edges of their monitor due to overflow.
